Moved to correct forum.

That's just the same design as a playseat evolution. Where does the gear lever go?

Yeah working on that now, im pretty much guessing the mechs and the workarounds to keep this thing from going apart :S

Now with the gearshift holder its almost exactly the same lol.
Just a bit higher off the ground. Then again the playseat is grossly overpriced.

You need some cross members/struts to stop the seat "box" from collapsing.

And the wheel support is much too high, wouldn't worry about it looking like some other design, we all have to get inspiration from somewhere......

True, this is a very close version of that play seat. But the evo play seat is Very overpriced i am thinking of manufacturing the seat on my own or via some kind of workshop to save some bucks. These pics have all the design specs but some backup material need to be added on the spot ( at the workshop) if the build needed any backup.

I would tell you to not put the bar between your feet it really is uncomfortable at least for me i would put the bar behind the pedals not in front

Exactly, leave the biggest flaw of the playseat to the playseat.

an other recommendation if needed. You can built it in the way so you can split the seat apart from the wheelbase so you have a seat to sit in when not racing... I just saw you got screw under the seat, so this was maybe not needed

And you need a drink holder ;)

your seat height has changed on the last pic. i would take it like on the last pic. On the first it seems a bit high. The lower you seat the better!!

I'm going to ask you the same question as I have asked someone else.

What programme do you use to draw the setup?

Actually, I would argue that suggestion. Because when sitting down your legs are longer than your arms and if you look at the most recent picture you may feel your back get soar from leaning forward and having your legs so close together, it may feel more natural with the pedals behind the wheel. The bar doesn't get in the way for me on my Playseat Evo. and I'm 6' 4". They designed it with the pedals in the back for a reason. But the other members here may use just their right foot to bounce from gas to brake and hit the bar. My setup is for left-foot braking and believe me, some cars require it :) But hey...just my 2 cents and GL with the build!

Yes i was giving that a thought and ur right. well would need to move the pedal base to the right so i have the gas and brake pedals more to one side and the clutch pedal to the other this would be more neat.
