My GTA3 project (PC)

I realise that everybody here is into VC now, but if you have the PC version of gta3, you most likely have downloaded the mods.

Well i happen to be working on one myself, its a Lexus IS 300. Its coming along well, here are some pics:

I know the problem with the lights and ive already fixed it. The textures are off, i know that too, but i have yet to find better ones.

The interior has since been updated (As of 5 minutes ago) and i am working on the center console in the car.

Wow that looks amazing!

How do you make the models like that, I can even see a resemblence in the interiors of my parents IS200. Do you have to model the whole thing yourself, or is there a basic model that you can add textures to?

I used zmodeler and pictures as reference.

Its not really all that hard, its just time consuming, you have to model the whole thing yourself. Sometimes its a pain in the ass. :\

Hmm, havent thought about that yet.. Probably red, black white, blue and orange/gold..

Lets say for instance, you made a car with lights and **** all over the dashboard, and really complicated and stuff. Would it slow down your computer when it drove by?

As of right now, you cant have lights in the car. Only headlights and such..

A few, but i really reccomend gta3.net, even though its german. Its pretty easy to know where you are.

BTW, if you would like to follow this project further, i have it on www.gtaforums.com ... i update it alot there, its under the gta3 >> modification showroom >> vehicles forum.
