I thought some of you might find this interesting. These are my lap times on various tracks and PP's. Basically what I did was set up my gearbox's to Nürburgring and after tuning only let myself do 5 laps to see what cars are both the fastest and easiest to just pick up and go fast. 99% of the tunes I used were from Praiano. Here Big thanks to him and Gt Planet! Now for the data!

Nice list, and interesting. I would recommend (for credibility's sake) that you use race hard for race cars, and sport hard for street cars. Also, I, personally think that they should be divided between sport and race groups. Just suggestions. I'm just amazed at how well the Audi lms did. I find that car so painful, and kinda a waste of money.

Nice list man, I think I'm going to create my own Cape Ring Leaderboard.

Used to despise the track, but thanks to the Seasonal GTR event, i love it as much as the 'Ring.

For some of the tunes I used, racing soft was the only option so I had to use them on all of the cars to keep the playing field even. Same goes even with some of the 550pp cars I'm testing now. Also I'm using a DS3 so driving a Shelby Cobra or Ruf Yellowbird is a bit of a challenge even with racing soft.

The full cape ring is a bit of a chore for me, but I love the periphery. I just wish that jump wasn't so severe. Really reeked havoc on some of my laps.

Mainly this wasn't a test on the fastest cars per say but which ones are the easiest to just pick up and go without much effort. Good for pp limited races online.

I know, I know. I'm not good enough yet to put down consistent lap times. It seems every other lap at best I go off the track at some point. I'm starting to figure out which corners I usually mess up on however I still cannot gold all of the AMG challenges. The ring is truly the ultimate driving challenge!

I consider myself quite savvy with the ring however those amg challenges were difficult for me aswell on ds3

reason being is its a roadcar.. too fast for its turning ability

Best way to learn the ring is in a race car.. maybe 550pp with full aero. This will teach you the brake zones and which turns can be taken flat-out. But you won't lose the rear end or understeer off the track

Update to the list. If there are any cars I haven't tried out at any pp level let me know! Starting work on 500pp.

Solid list 👍

I cant remember if the S2000 makes it to 550pp or not. The Opera S2000 was very quick as well but again, I couldnt remember if that was at 500 or 550pp.

Another suggestion for when you try 500 is the FT-86's, both the concept and the new one.

To the OP, in order to keep all the information in one place and keep the thread neat and tidy, why don't you post your updated information all in the first post using the "edit" function.

Nice list. 👍 Are you wanting people to run the combos themselves to post comparison lap times? I'll be honest about my general dislike of racing soft tyres - they're a false positive for the most part and give you a disproportionate sense of speed a long way before you are pushing them to the limit.

Here's one for you anyway:

Laguna Seca -
Camaro SS RM '10 - 639bhp (642pp) Racing Hard (R1) Tyres - 1'18.517

Grand Valley Speedway -
Lancia Delta S4 Rally Car '85 - 459bhp (572pp) Sports Medium (S2) Tyres - 1'56.586
Ford GT40 '69 - 551bhp (599pp) Racing Hard (R1) Tyres - 1'51.822
(Will do videos if you like)

If you like hot-lapping maybe you'd be interested in joining GTPlanet's WRS :):
