Okay.. This is not going to end how the previous ones did.. But in this thread I will tell you who I most respect and why.. Don't stress too hard if your not in here.. This is only for the people who have been around for a while.. I'm on my phone so when I transfer to the laptop I'll update this.. But people who I can think of that will be getting a mention are as follows..

PTK, honestly, if I had a best mate overseas it would be him.. One of, if not, THE fastest guys over ¼ you will ever come up against. When I first started out on GTP I saw names like DLR, Mafiaboy, Slashfan and KennyBlanco all over the place. But there was one person in particular who stood out.. The one who made the Drag forum a funny place.. PTK.. I very quickly learnt how to follow in his footsteps and get people laughing :P at a point I think that everything I said people had to triple check just to make sure it wasn’t a joke.. If I’ve had “best memories” on GTP it would defiantly include PTK 👍

Fest0r, OMFGROLFCOPTERLOLCANO is what comes to mind when I think about him.. In a good way of course.. Another one of the funniest guys I have ever seen type on a keyboard :sly: but genuinely a great guy.. I have heard of his generosity and had the privilege only yesterday to experience it firsthand.. The amount of trust that can be built by a single gesture like that is amazing!! I have so much respect for fest, if y’all can’t see what a true mate this guy can be then you need to get something checked.. If it weren’t for you or PTK, I would have left by now 👍

KennyBlanco, okay.. Time to get personal. For those who don’t know, I suffer from a severe “mental illness” and I’ve gone through a lot in my life with no or very little help whatsoever.. And when I came forward to my friends on GTP Kenny was there.. He gave me true help and I feel like I owe him part of my life.. As he kept me motivated and determined to get through my trouble.. Although he may not be the fastest guy ever... he is a genuine mate.. Someone who I hope I can emulate when I get as experienced in life as you are Kenny... a nice way of saying your old ;)... but seriously.. You are a true friend Kenny.. Thank you 👍

Slashfan, this guy was a MASSIVE name when I first joined.. And when I pictured him in my head.. Don’t get any ideas >.>... I imagine this big Jack-2 kinda guy sitting there with Metallica blasting in the background.. But when I saw his contribution to the GTP online Magazine.. I had a lot of respect.. The amount of devotion and dedication he puts into his tunes, team and friends is something that you should idolise.. As I was only in his team for a very brief time I felt very welcome 👍

But he knows I have his back through everything he will come up against.. I don’t need to say much about him cause he should know what he means to me..

Swara.. Although you’re “new” you made your way in to the big league and now you running with the big boys.. And doing very very well.. I’m not sure what else to say as you are still very new to this and I haven’t really had much to do with you apart from my brief stint in Eclipse 👍

I have respect for alot of the guys on here. I think we are a helpful bunch. I enjoy being a part of this forum and have tons of fun on here. It is because of this that I still don't understand why the drag racing community is thought of as the armpit of gtp though.:confused: I'm still a bit pissed about that comment. :grumpy:

The people I have respect for in this forum are most of you guys.

but my most respect goes to the following in no particular order:

Matt - where the f:censored: would I be without you? Not talking just GT5. I'd probably still be wasting away worrying constantly about whether cara loves me or not and being whipped. You're a genuine mate and an older brother. and irreplacable as a mate. i hope after gt5 playing is over with we maintain our friendship 👍 you know what you mean so spamming this box is pointless

PTK: ive always seen you as faster than me (which you are) which has always given me someone to look up to

Slash: accepting me into eclipse was an honour, and even though that didnt work out you still give me good respect and still have fun racing with me. (also thanks for being patient with my sti haha)

Kenny: you're a genuine top bloke with a very generous soul. not many people can replicate the true mateship and advice you give to everyone here and around 👍

swara: haha i never really raced you much but you arent slow and youre always talking and keeping a conversation going here

trybal: your tunes are revolutionary in making people fast once they put in some effort. this is exactly how tunes shouldve been given from the get-go. also theindigo text is boss 👍

Dr_Slump: your tuning bible all these months ago provided me with HEAPS of background information which definitely helped me get faster and faster. you're very respected on these forums by me in all fields, not just drag racing and are very knowledgable about cars

and.. ethanrofl. JOKES. but on a serious note for you, sorry for all the flack i give you mate. haha i never meant to be offensive

An honour to be on the list Matt... even more so when I look at the others you mention there 👍 You’re the most honest and courageous guy I have ever seen on any forum. I see this place as a welcome break from real life hassles, but it pales into insignificance when I think about the daily struggle you go through. Anything I can do... just let me know.

By the way, the generosity is all a facade. I’m paid by the Scottish tourist board to convince people (one at a time) that we aren’t all money grabbing scrooges :D
 
I feel honored to be in the list lol. I respect all of you guys as you all have different tuning abilities and great personalities. You've made me who I am. THANK YOU. I wouldn't be were I am today without you all. Its funny when people find out I'm a twig lol.

Thanks man. Without you, Viper, Slash, Kenny, etc, I wouldn't be who I am today. It is an honor to be part of Team Eclipse ahem Team Hydro. Slash, thank you for letting me in. I appreciate it bro.
