 That's a very nice cockpit you have there Tova.

I was wondering, did you make this yourself or did you buy it from somewhere online? And if you made it yourself, can you share the blueprint with us?:)

Hi CAMikaze,
the cockpit is homade.
To buld all the structrures I used chrome tubes and connection bought at OBI or BRICO (Hobby shop). I cut the tubes in the right lenght and assebled them toghether.
With these tubes system you can buld everything you want. It's like building with LEGO or MECHANO.
Now I am building a H and Seq. shifter ,a handrake and a new pedal assembly but with machined and designed parts.
Tell me if you want to make one o you need other info.

Dunno about any of those stores being in my area. But there's always the Lowe's Home Depot or any other hardware store.:D

Another set of DIY projects on your part? I know that Frex has a few sim racer parts of that style including a keyboard holder. Also, is your cockpit adjustable so that other can use it for example if you were taking it to a LAN racing meeting?

Sure. :) And keep us up to date on how your cockpit is coming along, OK?

Hi Guys!

It's been a while since I've been to the thread. Just wanted to warn you guys regarding placing the LCD monitor/tv on the same platform as the DFP or any wheel with FFB. I was informed by my friend at a local appliance store that the vibrations on the platform can cause issues with the LCD after extended periods. Some things you should look out for are dead pixels, flickering of the whole screen or the backlight when the FFB kicks in, etc.
Though this shouldn't be a problem with higher end or newer models, it is still not recommended. :scared:

Which reminds me... I may have to edit mine if I plan to go LCD HD next year.
