well I rekon real horse power comes when a top fuel dragster does 0-60 in .1 secs and finishes the 1/4 mile in 3.7secs. I guess 7000 HP isn't good enough for ya?Originally posted by jaw1

I think top fuel dragsters are the fastest thing on wheels with a combustion engine. Exciting as hell to see live and scary to hear. If you don't wear anything over your ears, you will lose your hearing by the end of the day.

Um... no. top land speed no. quickest, mabe, but I still think a rocket engine would accellerate faster...

NO. Rockets aren't combustion, and planes don't use combustion. Piston engines are combustion.

See that's the thing. You tell people that you go to a private school once, and they think you should know everything under the sun. My school isn't teaching me on common knowledge trivia like combustion. And my day job doesn't include rebuilding turbo fan, turbo prop, ram jet, and internal combustion engines. Listen, if you have any questions on sequential gene research or Transcription of DNA....or even German language.....just ask. But I'm not atending ITT tech or MIT.

Have you taken BASIC biochemistry or reaction in regular chem??? Remember: Replacement, Dbl Replacement, composition, decomposition, combustion, OTHER.

One problem with that. They're not street legal. A speed 12 is.
