... So I have "complete" the game and decided to start working on a master list for my own amusement, which I decided to share with everyone. This is not and do all end all type of list. The criteria I chose to use, is what I find fun. No doubt there will be better lists in the future, but you can never have too much data :)

My intention is to test all the cars in the game on Deep Forest Raceway using the following criteria;

Track :
Deep Forest Raceway 13:00 Noon, I feel this is best suited to test both slow and fast section with decent straight and a few complex corners.

Assistance :
  • I am using a PS5 controller
  • ABS, On
  • TC, Off
  • ASM, Off
  • Counter Steer, Weak

The Run :
3-5 laps , first 2 to dial in my braking zones and gearing and 1-3 flying laps depending on the car.

What is recorded
  • Completely stock car run (with all excellent oil, engine , body)
  • "Handling Pack" run. Weight Reduction 3, Race suspension, Race brakes(+pads), LSD and RS Tyres
  • Full Tune run. Handling pack + all power upgrades and race gearbox
  • No setup tuning for any of the runs, with the exception of short gearing or very unstable cars, will be noted in comments

What am I testing
  • fastest lap, this can also be a combination of fastest section.
  • top speed across start finish line
  • Stability through Turns, Hairpin and Main Straight

How Stability is scored
  • Turns(T), This is mainly from turn one up to the back straight - medium speed corners
  • Hairpin(H), Well its the Hairpin - slow speed corner
  • Straight(S) , from the hairpin across the start finish line - high speed corners

N - Neutral Stability, Minor over/understeer. Applying power can be done without too much caution
OI - Oversteer Low, Minor throttle control or counter steer is required
OII - Oversteer High, Throttle control and counter steer is required, reduced speed for back straight final turn
OII - Oversteer Extreme, a fine balancing act is required, car feels constantly on the edge, full power rarely use unless already at speed.
UI - Understeer Low, Minor throttle control is required
UII - Understeer High, reduced speed required, noticeable bad understeer
XD - Undrivable, tuning and further active assistance required to complete lap

Disclaimer : I am not the fastest driver but I am consistent, this should be using as a comparison tool only and not fastest times. Your mileage may vary. Also I am doing this in the constraints of the game while also having real life commitments, progress on the list will be slow ( especially the tune sections as the additional credits needed can be a grind). Currently I am working through all the car I already have in my garage with a priority on car I am not require to spend any credits on. Also I will be doing road cars first. Racing car will only be testing in stock form.

I have started the list today so give it some time the gain some traction.

List is currently arranged by PP , if anyone knows how to add filters to an embed spreadsheet , please let me know.

Pretty cool.

I did something similar in GT4 (on the same track even!) where I just lapped every car I owned and kept a spreadsheet of my best times with each vehicle. It wasn't nearly in depth as yours though...

Yeah I think Deep Forest has it all and it not too long, easy to do 5 laps without feeling fatigued.

Its going to be a challenge doing all cars, the biggest hurdle getting all the credits I need for the tune testing (well and buying the cars).

14 more stock runs added for tonight - totally to 73 cars tested so far.

This is the majority of my stock cars, others I will have to be detune back to stock (and upgrade again later).

Will likely start with the race car list tomorrow too, I have few ready to go.
