Hey all, so last night there was heavy rains where I live. My ps5 and TV are connected to a spikebuster. When I was gaming last night, I heard quite a loud bang following which my console and TV turned off. And the fuse in the main power line of our house also went kaput. So basically there was no power. The ups was on. So I tried connecting the TV to a different power point and it worked. But can't say the same for the PS5. It's not turning on at all and whenever I connect it to a power source there's a weird buzzing noise near the power point at the back of the console. I'm guessing that the power unit has died. Do you guys have any suggestions or tips? I think my only choice right now is to give it to a service center and ask for a replacement. I'm in India and currently there is a covid lockdown till the month end. So if they accept the replacement I'm not sure how long it's going to take to get the console with the current shortages in supply. So any advice?

If it is under warranty.
Go for it.
Dont mention the power surge or anything.
Just say it is not turning on.

If the warranty is declined it might be simple fuse on the PSU side of the PCB.

It's still under warranty (1 year), so I'd look for the receipt and contact Sony about getting a replacement. GL!
