I have a loose Lotus Espirit, the Premium model. Sloppy in turns and braking. I have the HP up to over 600. I have the car as low as it goes in the front and back and the brake ratio at 5:3 which helped. I also have the chassis stiffening bars. But in comparison to say, the Maserati, its loose as can be on Rome even with soft racing tires. I don't expect it to handle as well as my Ferrari's but it should handle better then many cars, I would think. Any help would be appreciated.
I have every old muscle car, standard and premium, except for the Chevelle (which I now have too). I have everything available tuning wise on every one. I went into a room and a guy with a Chevelle SS beat all my cars off the line, except, I think, the Mach 1. Is that 454 that much better? Any input on tuning for drag racing as well as racing such as the Laguna endurance race with my old American muscle car would be greatly appreciated too.
Thanks for any tidbit. Merry Christmas
