My vision racer setup

I've had this for years initially for an old driving force wheel, I got it upgraded to sport a G25 and shifter, I never got round to posting it for some reason, thought its about time .







I don't own both ps3's and both TV's the ones on the right are my brothers which I am currently borrowing, non the less the setup works well but I need some sort of surround sound with a sub under the seat perhaps

if anyone wants proof shots that can be arranged.

Do any of you racers use a vision racer?

I am hoping to get round to mounting the pedals upside down like they should be, but for now that works just fine.

Free as a Christmas between me and my brother, my dads best friend runs vision racer, so presumably he got it for a steal, he never told me how much it cost nor have I asked him. The G25 upgrade was also done for free. Its safe to say its the best Christmas present I have ever had.

I should have my VR3 by 1st Feb according to the email i received today.

Expect some pictures of my Vision Racer setup when it arrives.

Think I've got some video of my daughter in in GT5P on mine.. I'll try and dig it out with a link.

I have to say the V3 looks amazing, I haven't had a go in one yet. make sure you get photo's once you have it all setup 👍

What package did you go for? the basic one?

I've ordered the

VR3 Rig
VR3 Gearshift Mount
VR3 LCD Stand

Plan to Move my G25 onto it, as a start. However things may move on from there.

I'm working on a replacement top cover for the G25 that will take my 7" MIMO USB display and display the motec display, and will also house some basic switch gear and a USB slot, for Headset etc. I do have the option of using a touch screen, but i still think that for some things the options of switches adds to the tactile nature of the sim and aids the immersion.

This is still very much in layout stage.

When it's ready to release pictures, I'll share.

But expect pictures when I get the VR3, menwhile check out the gorgeousness at www.visionracer.com

I love having the TV bolted onto the frame. I guess it was because I was driving a rally game on it. The screen would shake ever so slightly as I turned the wheel violently. It looks very similar to the shaking found on board cams found when watching WRC. It made the whole thing seem slightly more realistic. this was on a V1 rig. The V3 rig looks far more rigid and sturdy so i would imagine the effect will be less noticeable, which is a shame because i quite liked it

It looks fantastic, I think I am going to upgrade eventually.

Are the pictures of a VR3? I seen a vision racer on ebay but its not a VR3, its the original vision racer, so im not sure if my G25 will attach to it...
