Been reading a lot of stuff on GTPlanet lately, so today I decided it was time for me to join the forum!
How did you find GTPlanet?
I found GTPlanet via a comment on the "Kotaku.com"-page. I was probably reading some news about GT5. Top Gear and GT5P has gotten me all hyped up about this game and I really look forward to getting my hands on it in November! I pre-ordered my GT5 copy on the 27th November 2009!
Where are you from?
I'm from Sweden, living and studying in Malmö. I have been studying environmental studies for the past two years, but this fall I'm taking a break to do an English course cause I really need to improve my English if my plans on working abroad is going to happen in the future.
When did you start playing the Gran Turismo games?
I started playing the GT-series on the PSone when I randomly bought GT2 in a store, I liked cars and this looked like a fun car game, after that I was completely hooked. Played the first GT-game a couple of times after that just to see how it all started. If I remember correctly one of the GT2-discs had some rubber-smell on it. Anyone who can confirm that or was I dreaming? After GT2 I continued on with GT3 and that was my favourite game
on the ps2, never really got a good feeling with GT4, don't ask me why cause I don't know. Maybe it was my gaming-spirit that was lost for a few years?
Do you play with a steering wheel?
I have a g25 steering wheel somewhere but I don't use it atm since I don't have a good table for it. So gamepad it is. But I really really really want to use the g25 when GT5 comes!
What other games do you enjoy?
My other favourite games I enjoy on the ps3 is MGS4, The Darkness, Batman: AA, Resident Evil 5, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and of course Little Big Planet!
What are you most looking forward to doing in the community, now that you're a part of this site?
Well, the reason I joined this site was to get some tuning-tips for GT5p and maybe read gossip and news about GT5. And I might be looking for some kind of online racing league in the future but for now I just race offline cause I'm quite an inexperienced driver.
Favourite car ingame: Aston Martin DB9 Coupe
Favourite car IRL: Toyota Supra Mk IV
