Mygranturismo new look?

Hello every one your thoughts an opinions on this please?

Many people on GTPlanet use mygranturismo.net and its had a little face lift.

You only need to look at an individuals signature to see how many people use that forum to keep an inventory on there items. (Cars, paint, Museum cards, Etc.)

Looks nice, enjoy the colours and the glass feel of the menu,s but I can see problems with it and seeking your thoughts on it too?

The new background looks nice but in my opinion comes with its faults.

When you are on the site and an example I have drawn to is when you scroll.
If you come to send Horns out to some one in a trade you tend to go to the right grab your scroll bar and straight to the bottom.
It gives a very psychedelic feel to the page/pages and becomes awful to look at until the page settles again once at the bottom of the page?

Same happens on the suits/helmets page and any other pages you are on where you need to scroll down an then back up?
Also when a adding a car like myself who collects different colours of them you need to add existing items in the cars so you open your page and maybe have to scroll to the bottom like Vuaxhall and then once again its gives a look thats unpleasent on eyes?

Presumbly these changes will also become to different sections on Mygrantursimo site like the Forsa section?

Massive improvement looks good, Takes away from the rapid movement when scrolling.👍

Looks pretty good. I can spot the differences right away (been using the website for well over a year now).

But you should really reconsider a new background. Scrolling gets a bit painful on the eyes.

It's a lot of clutter. Icons, ads, images, fonts, different colours everywhere. I would try a more minimalistic approach.

As for the background, try to set it fixed so it doesn't scroll with the page.

Edit: If you want a banner for your site, I made one that you can have.

The background is the same colour as the background for the update messages ("nn added the car Ginetta G4 to garage" etc), I thought it could be nice to have those messages on the website banner, popping up just below the name of the site... like this:

Edit 2: I started to put together a more minimalistic style, but photoshop crashed in the middle of it so I only got to add the news section and starting on the menu bar. Anyway, here it is (screenshot at the moment where my Photoshop crashed), might serve as some inspiration.
