What is the n00best mistake you have ever made?

Mine was when I finished GT4 100% and forgot to save, having to do mission 34 again...

It's been awhile since I truly felt like a newb. While not a mistake per se, when I bought a Mad Katz wheel a couple years ago, I surely felt like a newb. All a sudden, I couldn't even control my cars at Super Speedway! The most basic track. :indiff:

I sold every car that you get when doing the bronze licences. And the Pagani Zonda you get in the mission hall... :( Why me?! 🤬

Overusing B-Spec.

And I dont mean leaving B-Spec running the Nurburgring 24h overnight, I mean using B-Spec to complete races I just couldn't be bothered doing myself. Slowly I am going back and A-Speccing them... slowly. :ouch:

This happened with GT3 but figured I'd post it anyways.

I had finished GT3 100% complete all golds. A buddy came over with a blank game card to copy it, even though he had another one that he was working on. Just wanted access to all the cars I had.
To make a long story short, we booted the game up on his working card got the cards mixed up and some how saved his game on my game card wiping me out! Had to start from scratch again 🤬🤬🤬

Won't repeat the words that came out of my mouth that evening, suffice to say I wasn't happy but mad at myself not him.

I agree, this is where I went wrong. I missed out on plenty of great racing doing that. I don't really have any other regrets other than perhpas buying a few cars and points tuning I probably shouldn't have done.

On another note probably the best thing I did was go and gold every licences test. I am a much better driver for it.

I spent around 1,000,000 credits buying a TVR Speed 12 and tuning it only to find that it was rubbish. It would wheel spin all the way until you got into 4th gear at around 130MPH

About three years ago after a night of drinking I sold a bunch of cars including the FGT I got for winning 24hrs of Nurburgring to buy the Chaparral cars among others. The next morning I realized what I had done and said to myself WTF.

I did the same thing luckily i had only competed 50% if i did that at 100 I would've be really angry

I did almost the same thing on GT3. My buddy was over to show me some of his cars (did I mention that he was at 100%) when I somehow over saved his card. That was the last time I put memory cards in both slots. Anyways it gave him a reason to go back through it:sly:.

I sold my Nissan R89C =-(

Aw come on! You just can't do that! That is the car you win for finishing Driving mission 34. And you can only get it once!

Don't worry, stuff like that happens. But the Zonda was kinda bad. You can win Nurbrugring 24 hours with that.

turned off my console while the game is saving...twice -_-
1st time - 74.5%
2nd time - 30%

Ouch:grumpy:

THis happened to me. I won the Range stormer. I put almost 100,000 credits into it only to fing out I couldn't use it for the Supertruck race in Beginner events.:banghead:

deleting my save game data when I broke the disk, not realizing that it was the disk that wa broken. :grumpy:

Don't worry. My game data was deleted once before. But I managed to gain it all back. And more! I was only at 25%. Now I'm at 37%. Just remember your strategy and improve it.

It pisses me off royally that you can't race SUVs in the truck race.

By the way, you don't need to dump 100,000 cr into a truck to win these, they're stupid-easy. I think I put a close-ratio tranny and a computer chip in an F-150 to do it. f

You can even do it in a stock Dodge RAM for a little more money :sly:

Yup. The only trick is to make sure the Chevy Silverado isn't sitting in 2nd or 1st place at the start of the event. The Silverado blows all the other Ai away. :dunce:

:yuck: That was my problem car in that race. But I beat him. :) By a hair.:grumpy: But that was another bad thing I did. I focused more time on him than the race.:dunce:

spinned in last corner lasty lap el captain endurance because i wasn´t paying attention, came in 2nd,
0.01 second behind or something. LOL

My worst mistake.. Ruining my Ps2, meaning no more GT4. D: It's completely rooted. But my newbiest one would have to be.. Figuring out how to cheat for money. It ruined me. It took all the fun out of winning races just so I could buy a new car, and tune it. And NO to all you other newbies out there who would want to know how to cheat for money. IT RUINS THE WHOLE FUN OF THE GAME!

- Bump.. Lol :D

YES, and it is also no fun to compete against stock honda's in your new 800hp tunde car:idea::dunce:.

I agree with you completely. Lol. Blitzing the field is no fun D: Unless you're extremely bored. :)

The time also feels that it goes faster if you have a good battle, i you use a 800hp car, it is boring and you think that a 10 lap race takes like 1hour:dopey:.

I know. Thinking logically you'd be like, faster car = quicker race.. but you're right. Also, what's the point of buying a game that you're just going to cheat on? I mean, sure it's fun at first, but it gets boring. And well, with the Formula GP races, if you have a faster car than the AI, you're still likely to lose unless you control your driving.

Lol, my brother who is 8, was in my Minolta with 1000+Bhp, and he lost to some cars with like 500-600 Bhp. I was laughing so hard at him when he came third.

I would say, "good on your brother, for giving it a go." Because one day he will beat your butt.
