N500 cars in N400 class race

So I had a lobby open yesterday set to N400 cars. 3 people managed to get their N500 cars in the race. Only my N400 cars showed up as an option for me to choose from.

Anybody else seeing this sort of thing and does anyone know who they did it?

You have the ability to detune and tune up cars from different N classes in order to meet requirements for other N classes. For example, increasing power on an RC-F to meet N600 or Detune a 458 to meet N500.

If you're looking for closer racing I'd recommend setting weight restrictions as well as HP restrictions. Same thing as GT6 really.
