Holy crap!...does that showcase the bias towards Japanese Makes/Models or what? wowza!

It's nothing to do with bias. Obviously there's going to be more of what they have the most access to. This discussion comes around every new installment.

Those are just Gran Turismo 5 cars that will be in GT6 as premiums. A lot of those cars were already premiums to begin with, but if you look closely, you'll see there are a few new additions to the list that were originally standards. Special note to the Bugatti Veyron.

That's not a list of premium cars. That's a list of all cars carried over to GT6 from GT5. Don't expect any significant upgrades from the way they're represented in GT5.

On topic, I hope the new cars are in because they are bad-ass race cars.

Off topic, I hate that NASCAR on their programming calls the current car the "Gen 6" car. And all their commentators who are all NASCAR pros and should know the sport alot better than me, like Kyle Petty and Larry McReynolds keep repeating "Gen 6". It drives me crazy because this is clearly the 7th generation of "stock cars".

You had the bootlegger/ modified era.

Then the muscle car era.

After that was the short Grand National era.

Then was the era I don't have a name for, like '85-93 when stock cars became shell body race cars. But they all still looked like the street versions of the cars. Pretty much the same as the current cars in that way , just without the parity under the shell.

Up next was the far too long "everybody's the same" era which ran from 94/95 through when it was FINALLY replaced by.......

The COT Car of Tomorrow era

That is 6 distinct generations of NASCAR stock cars. They are currently running the 7th genration cars, not the 6th. I'm a stickler for details, so this annoys me every time they say it. I've emailed NASCAR's production team about this multiple times.
