There's no Indy setup there, DaBomm4! lol

Try:
max ride height & springs
default dampers (all on 4) and transmission (330km/h with 3.000 final gear)
no camber or toe
LSD (DGL) 10/20/20
400 Downforce front and rear

This isn't my tune (mine's faster :D) but you should be holding 280 km/h through the turns and run around 50 seconds laps, tell me which times you posted. Bonne chance l'ami!

They work for 70% with an adjusted top speed... oh and someone tell Polyphony Indy is NOT a restrictor plate race!

This used to be my favorite cash grind in GT5.
Ran consistent laps in 44.0 or 43.9 if I was 'standing on the seat' as they say :D

I would assume the Daytona tunes should work fine with a little adjustment of final gear. I haven't gotten around to the Nascar races yet, having more fun tuning road cars.

Actual lack of banking to be precise.Indy is flatter,I have a tune,not near my PS3 right now. Will post something later,maybe? Kind of secretive about that one.

Makes sense, and like I said, I haven't gotten to those races yet so it didn't occur to me that the difference in banking between the two tracks is that different to cause a big handling difference.

Well here is an old one from My old friend from GT5 Kenny,you will have to translate the numbers to GT6.
Not anywhere near PS3 sorry.

48.95? that's quite good! IIRC my best is in the low 49s, maybe I should go back to this tune instead of mine haha

I think for ride height you need to add 80, and for downforce multiply by 10, is that correct?

hi killerjimbag . Kenny is ovalturnery . i was a fan of his tunes on gt5 . he don t play gt6 ? his tune you gave me does not work very well but i still work on it . thanks .

hi @meek. thanks but too much oversteer . not enough safe for me . maybe more aero on the rear .

hi @meek . rear aero 450 . less oversteer . now 48 52 .

I fixed your triple post for you, if there is something you would like to add after you post, just use the edit button and add it to the previous post. Also, if you start a person's name with @ it will link to them and they will know about your comment. 👍

Lower front ride height works good at Indy along with .30 negative front toe.
Low 48 second laps are possible with no tire wear.

Us mere humans can only aim at low 48's... how do you run multiple cars in time trial btw? had no idea this was possible.

@vince29

@soupcan
IRL, toe out (negative toe) works best with (negative) camber, do you find this true in GT6?
I use a bit of camber at Indy.

He is in arcade mode then time trial, if you drive a car on a track for one clean lap and then change to another car and go back to that track in arcade mode and drive again for a clean lap, both car's times should be there. The fastest lap record is only in arcade time trial though and not connected to the test drive in the garage.

Single player time trial mode keeps the top 8 times run on the track selected, no matter what car is used.
:rolleyes:
I rarely use the arcade mode time trial because the test drive feature is in the garage. If I didn't go in once then I would have never known there was a fastest lap leaderboard there.

@soupcan

How much lower on the front?
Is this setup offline/online?
70% or 100%? What tyres?

10 lower than the rear, online RS tires.

Camber is messed up in GT6, have never had a setup that works with it yet.

I'm guessing Whoosier's eye roll was for the "He" in your earlier post, it reads like your calling her a he.

If I was @WhoosierGirl, @DaBomm4 would be getting more than a roll of the eyes...:odd:

Ok, you people are probably right, I wasn't thinking about gender when I was writing that. :dunce: :banghead: I figured she was thinking I was stating something that was obvious from the picture. So, I'm sorry for my lack of attention when typing @WhoosierGirl.

Low 47's maybe even high 46's are possible. I just started working on an Indy setup the other night, have to go through some cars to see what feels comfortable first.

Not too bad Nauty ,have you tried it in a draft to see how the car handles in dirty air?
Been running 47.7 with tyre wear .....47.3 without tyre wear ,some people are running high 46`s without tyre wear ,kinsey, storm oliver etc ,my endurance set-up runs 48.7 for 30 laps with only half a second drop off over the 30 but nobody is running endurance races lol
