 Thanks. :embarrassed:

Also about the race, @Alan2134 was warned multiple times about driving standards under caution and had earned himself a pass-through penalty at the restart. Since PD has apparently patched our previous system of pit penalties he was instructed by the race officials to stay next to the pit wall on the front stretch and proceed at 55mph. He disregarded the fact that he was supposed to that only and he was whipping the tail end of his car back and forth and took off before the end of the pit wall as I observed. I don't know exactly what happened after that but he received a black/white cross flag and was told to park it, which he eventually did after much hesitation. The race was recorded to my knowledge with audio.

Could I get some examples of the behavior that earned him the drive-through penalty? I'm not sure if I would've had him park it after accelerating from the drive-through too early. I more likely would've issued another drive-through penalty under the reason of "speeding on pit road." However, it may have been severe enough to warrant the black/white cross flag. I am obviously not 100% sure, as I was not there. Sadly, I doubt an audio-only video will help much in a case like this.

We will have to see if the patch for the old drive-through method is track specific.

I believe @trobes29 said something about going back and recording Alan's POV via. race replay. Anyway, I'm not in a good position to recall the events of the race. I was busy working on homework throughout a lot if it and only listened for the "c-word". You will have to talk to Trobes and Carl about it.

He was given a drive through, then proceeded to KSA drift down the frontstretch to "serve" his penalty. So I told him to do another drivethrough, that's when he gave Jayden and Bud damage under caution. I then told him to park it for 1 lap, then he gave Jayden damage under caution again, so I parked him.

Drive-through Penalty for I spun out and i correct my car. My right rear tire hit the grass when I doing my drive-through then, I try not to hit the pit wall.
Jayden hit bud and give himself damage before go green and he go down pit road when I go down to pit road for park my car for 1 lap by redbull. I watched the replay. Isn't my fault gave jayden damage again. I will take photos of jayden hit bud and I hit the grass.

I believe it is poor form to continue this discussion here. If further discussion is absolutely needed, please start a group pm that includes anyone that needs to be involved in the discussion. In-race penalties were issued, and as it was an exhibition race, it has no effects on the season standings. I believe it would be in our best interests to move on. However, for those who think more discussion is needed. Please begin a group pm including me and anyone else that needs to be included.

I am concerned about the current day and time. My internet has been poor in the past two weeks at the current race time, even though we have a technician coming on Thursday, I am still concerned. In addition, I have received a couple messages stating that the current time may not work for some people. Lastly, the current time is the absolute earliest I can get up, and with my 3rd shift job, it is proving to be a little difficult (but possible) to manage. I have listed all times that would work for me on the weekend in a poll. Please vote in the poll, checking all times that you would be available.

I was unable to record the race since ps3 doesnt let me change setting without quitting the game, i believe trobes recorded the race

Peelster I replied to your message on PSN. Just thought I'd tell you here as well. I select the #99.
I'm glad you did. I didn't get the message on PSN, unless by "PSN" you mean GT6 Community" which I haven't checked yet. Unfortunately for you, it's looking like the only time you are available is not the time we will be doing. Therefore, I will leave the 99 open for someone that will be able to attend.

Annoucement: I am willing to still do the 6pm time. It's just difficult for the reasons stated earlier. However, I feel like @redbullrider20 is the only one who understood how to do the poll. @NearCptNitro being the only other person to vote for multiple times, isn't even signed up. I just find it hard to believe that nobody else can do mornings. (Besides @swiftsmith who's only time was a morning time.)

Yes I meant the GT6 Community. Also I voted as well.

I'd just prefer that morning time. Other than that it doesn't matter to me.

The poll wasn't about prefer, it was about availability. Which is why you could select multiple answers. I have a feeling that other people didn't understand that about the poll either. I wanted to have this option off, but I'll turn "change your vote" to on, so anyone that made the same mistake you did can fix it. I still have a feeling that we'll have to do Sunday afternoon for this week at least.

Sunday at noon is my preference. It's not too late and I don't have to skip out on dinner to do it.

Yeah, anything but Sunday at 6pm is my preference, but due to the confusion over the voting I don't think there will be a real chance to change it from what is listed now. I think the best would be Saturday at 10pm with a backup day of Sunday. I already know that the majority prefer Sunday at 6pm, but I don't know about what people CAN do. Maybe I should have phrased the question differently. It seems nobody read post #36.

I want to register for the races as #33
The car registry post lists the available car numbers. (All of which are NASCAR car numbers that are painted on them already.) In addition, you must send me a friend request on PSN so that I may send you an invite to the GT6 club for the series.

Announcement 1: Speaking of available car numbers, the #83 car is now available. Budisgood024 will not be participating in the series due to changes in his work schedule.

Announcement 2: I have added a new second paragraph to the Caution Procedure regarding; how to call a Caution, how to acknowledge a Caution and what to do after being finished racing back to the Start/Finish Line.

Announcement 3: About that possibility of racing on Sunday morning that I sent a PSN message about... (which was titled Important Bulletin) I feel like I miscommunicated how to use the poll, even though I thought that I gave my instructions clearly in post #36. It wasn't a "check preferred time only" it was a "check all times that you will be able to be online and be available from that time from 1.5-4 hours of time. Average expected time is 2-3 hours." Further discussion will be provided at the race, which will be this Sunday at 6pm with practice at 5pm EST. The poll has been reopened allowing people to "change their votes" allowing people to check additional times of availability. Please add the rest of the times you are available. I would like replies in this thread quoting this message with feedback and if their is no feedback for you to give, a simple "ok" to let me know that you've read this.

For those unable to post on GTPlanet, please send me a PSN message telling me that you've read these announcements as well as listing the times you are able to be online and able to race, in the following format: (For example: If I was redbullrider20 and was unable to post on GTPlanet, I would send a message listing: Sat 9am, Sun 9am, 9:30am, 10am, 10:30am, 11am, 11:30am, Noon, 6pm.) Thank you.

Annoucement 4: After the race, I would really appreciate it if people could stick around for photo sessions for images for the club as well as testing for the untested tracks.

What time is the race tomorrow?
According to the poll, 6pm EST. Originally, said practice opens at 5pm, but actually, with the new Community feature, you can just join the room at any time all day long. I'd like people to start filtering in at 5pm, so we can go over a few things before qualifying.

Please clear your cache before joining the room. EVERY TIME

Annoucement: I have added a section on the track boundaries for High Speed Ring in post #3. There will be post-race corner cutting time penalties for the road course races all season long. I have not added it to the main rulebook yet, as I am not sure where to place it, but it is a thing.

Some of us are also running in the IRG's Indy 500 today so hopefully we'll be there on time.

Last weekend's exhibition saw me have a little temper so I hope tonight won't be the same. Also like last week, there's work I need to do while I'm parked so I will need clear and explicit communication or I may trip up.

I am aware of the IRG Indy 500. It should be done by the qualifying start time. I will monitor the race's progress, and if necessary, I will delay the start of the race. (Within a reasonable amount of time of course.)

I've never known you to have a temper. Hopefully, my internet will be fine this time and I will be there to help control the environment. I am very interested in seeing @trobes29's Youtube upload of the Suzuka East race.

I've never known you to have a temper.
Just the added stress of helping organize the event due to your absense and the work I was doing was a little overwhelming at the time. Any immaturity was quickly thrashed about through my headset, I was having none of it. Again, hopefully I'm a little more collected tonight.

NASCAR Suzuka Thunder Special
I hope we can make this a regular thing. @trobes29 and @NearCptNitro recorded the exhibition race at Suzuka. We have a portion of Segment 1 from trobes29 and Segment 2 from lap 5 until the finish from NearFear.

Segment 1 Part 1 - trobes29 onboard

Segment 1 Part 2 - trobes29 onboard

Segment 2 - NearFear onboard

@Peelster1 did you get my response about the outfit you wanted me to wear? I'm sorry but I'm going to have to respectfully disregard that. I see no real purpose other than hyper-realism an it'd be more a pain in the rear to switch to and from than anything. I like the outfit I'm wearing and it's nothing too abstract, besides, you're not going to see it anyway, the GTR is standard.

i should be able to record the race tonight, so we should have 3 camera views hahaha, also nearfear i'm gonna subscribe!!!
