OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM MYSELF TO THE EVENT ORGANIZERS AND COMPETITORS: As it is very clear already, I have missed three rounds of the current season due to me coping with personal struggles, and as we all approach the New Year, it is becoming more and more clear to me on what my schedule will allow. Unfortunately, this means I will have no other option than to withdraw from this series for the time being. I've had to cancel out my own Indy Lights Series, as well as pass on being a leading team in the GTPlanet Endurance Championship, and I was hoping I could salvage out this and my Super GT Series, but now that I know what my schedule will look like with work and college, all I could salvage was my Super GT due to its earlier time placement. Therefore I am officially handing back the #83 to the event organizers to be assigned to someone that can do it justice. I have to thank @Peelster1 for his patience with me as I tried to figure these things out and I wish this series the best of luck.
Thank You,
Evangeline Porter

I'll say that race last night gave me a headache. I certainly was not feeling pleasant to begin with and all of the delays and back-to-back cautions didn't help anything. Thanks to the other three drivers who stuck around for the finish; @NearCptNitro @Peelster1 and Braun. I would like to apologize for any incidents I may have caused and any penalties I may have received as a result of my actions.

Enclosed in the file attachments you will find a .zip file. This file contains the replay of a lap I ran earlier this morning at Fuji GT, our next track for this series. The purpose of this replay is to give all drivers a basic understanding of how to get around this track optimally. This is not intended to be a "fast lap" and should be beatable once the track and car is learnt. I have the same setup I used at SSR5 (the understeery one) with the transmission set to complete default. I don't know if @Peelster1 wants to keep the tranny that way but that's what we tested and liked last night.

I wish you success in overcoming your struggles so that you may find re-entry to the track sometime.

@Whitetail If you so wish, with the #83 car open, you would be the first person I would give that car to.

The transmission will very likely be the Default, with no changes to it. We are starting a new Half Season at Fuji Speedway GT next week going into 2015. It's unfortunate that 2014 ended on such a rough note, let's all work to make 2015 a great year!

Rulebook Update: Removed more specifics about penalties that were mentioned outside of the Penalty Section.

Sorry about the amount of 'load' put into the criticism's listed. I didn't actually realize how loaded it was to read even though it brought up valid points. I will keep that in mind for the future.

Don't worry about it, I also make lengthy posts quite often. I realize that many people don't like to read through a whole bunch of text. I'm not one of those people, it doesn't bother me one bit. Bringing up valid points is a very important thing. As far as I'm concerned, the more information provided, (as long as it's useful) the better.

I'm running either 1'35s or 1'45s. I'm a fairly quick driver so if you're within a second or two of that you should be fine.

Its not easy to toe/heel in this car lol
I'm on a DS3, no need to! Practice makes perfect mate as far as I know you just got your GT6 back after some PS3 issues correct? Take your time.

My ps3 would no longer load dual layered disc.Have not been on here since last spring.

A lot has changed! Don't fret too much over your pace, just enjoy the drive.

I have never heard a drive though become a whole lap penalty in Nascar. I wish that we could have had me serve it on the restart.

@Peelster1 says it's a possibility he haven't thought of that situation but it's no reason to rage quit. It's a very unprofessional and disrespectful thing to do in my opinion. If I quit because I'm not doing so well I'll at least do what @jeff46107 did and politely state that I'd like to pull out.

Sorry for the double post, but if #83 is available (again), I am able to participate in Route X, Motegi West, and Motegi East based on my current work scheduling.

Yeah 30 mins later after calming down i thought about how that sounded and looked and thought that wasn't your best idea was it. I was mad in the heat moment

I understand that, on one hand, maybe we should've had you do a drive-through on the restart. I just hadn't thought of that. Of course, I'm not sure if that's a thing NASCAR does either. Due to how the game is, we are forced to do some things differently though. You just need to work on getting rid of that reflex you have. I'll see you at Route X, but you will be on probation for that race. (Basically, don't ragequit out of it and you'll be okay.)

Annoucement: About quitting, if you have somewhere to be, or just can't drive anymore, that's okay. Just head to pit road and type out that you'll be retiring from the race. However, quitting simply because something isn't going your way is absolutely unacceptable and a direct violation of OLR Section 01 K. However, I make an exception where you don't have to wait on track until the end of the race. As long as I know you're retiring and the reason is approved, you're clear to leave.

Do you guys have any room for Motegi Oval on the 25th? I'd run Route X but 1. I've found that my internet is bad at home and great at university and I don't get back there until Wednesday before Motegi and 2. my Packers are playing the Cowboys and if the refs give the game to Dallas again I don't want to drive angry.

We should have room for you. Technically, all our spots are filled, but we usually have a field of 8 on average, leaving 3 cars open. Basically, the policy is, if the primary driver doesn't show up, whoever does show up can drive their car. Send me a Friend Request on PSN and I'll add you to the club.
