hi

I tried to create a room few days back - had a blast with my superbird at the indy for a while but no one joined (the reason might just be the continent of europe ;)). Atleast the superbird felt very "alive" and i had to be a lot more careful on the corners compared to actual nascars in the game. :)

Now Im askin if there would be interest in such room. Say classic muscle, 450hp 1750kg, no aids, high tire/fuel consumption, possibly heavy damage and nascar tracks. It would be fun if one is able to create an even pack of cars. :) Checked the specs and most of the old muscle cars should be able to be fitted in this 450hp/1750kg slot - and its atleast somewhat close to the actual nascars of the early seventies.

Let me know if theres interes in this type of a room.

Or can you say no to this:

If we only had some of them in the game..

thats nice - hope the connection over atlantic is good. ;) For some reason theres some problems with lag in multi-continent rooms every now and then. :( Hope there would be more players in to nascar in europe. The races are epic at the best if one has an even field of cars. :)

Were the cars really that light in the old days? Couldnt find any official specs from the time (as nascar doesent give official information on the restrictions to out side the teams). I put the weight as high as 1750kg as the current nascars are heavy and the weight gives the car a nice realistic feel and little more challenge. :)

Well some of the Vintage cars like the Shelby GT350 have a very low stock weight and with even with adding ballast it does not reach those higher weights. That and the older muscle cars do not have downforce like the current Nascar cars either.
