How is it possible!? (nürburgring in NASCAR) I bought the soft racing tires and its just impossible, i cant keep the car on the road.. Its pretty important since i spent 500.000cr just for that race.. Any advices?
Aerodynamics: max front and rear
Ride height: -15 front and rear
Transmission: 2 below default
Tyres: racing soft
No idea what anything else does so just leave it
This is a very simple tune but the advantage over your opponents is unreal!
You will need to be very familiar with the Nurburgring, and very frugal with the throttle. I'm forever spinning out on this event, but if you're using a DS3 controller I recommend mapping the throttle to R2 for more control. Just don't floor it until you're travelling in a straight line and you should be fine. If you do start to slip, let go of the throttle and with a bit of luck you'll stay in control.
With this setup, and if you know what you're doing, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Well, that's odd... Tried it last night and got it on the first try. Oil change, race soft tires and a little beat of gear tweaking (limited it to 340km/h).
And, as far as I know, all restrictions on weight, power and tires were removed by PD. I did ALL 10 RACES yesterday. Bought the required cars, gave them a little HP boost and race tires.
Won them all easily. Huge increase in level and money!
I've tried everything here and no luck. After several attemps all I could manage was 5th but I did make a lot of mistakes. Thing is I just can't keep a lap clean. It's so anoying that everytime you just look at the grass the car starts spinning. I guess i'm just a 🤬 driver
EDIT: After giving it another go I managed to blitz them by over 20 seconds with my first lap being 6:36:699. All i did was not focus on over taking asap and not pushing every single corner. Basically respect the Ring and it will reward you everytime.
Any more details on the specific setup? I tried this about 8 times this morning and the best I could manage was 6th (didn't go off track once in that run). What am I missing? I tried to follow the few basic tuning setups suggested above, but there must surely be more. What top speed should I set? Should I really have full downforce front/back as was suggested?? Any other tips?
