Did some NASCAR racing yesterday evening and the host switched to the Indy track. I have a good Daytona setup that gives me 42.0XX times but I was a bit at a loss with the Indy setup. Seems most other people had the same problems as I was qualifying 2nd with 45.4XX laptime but there was one guy who did 44.9XX times both during qualifying and the race. Never was able to catch up to that guy after I lost his draft.
So my question is, what are good setups for Indy, that both give you decent speed and tire life.
What I figured was that I needed much higher downforce, I set them to max 50/70.
Transmission set to 370 kph (230 mph) for drafting. probably one less for solo driving
chamber was 2.3 front 2.3 rear
toe was 0.00 front 0.21 rear
Other suspension settings were:
11f 11r
18.5f 18.5r
8f 4r
8f 4r
4f 4r
