Also turn off ALL aids and to get the best speed use racing soft tyres, but they will only last you 25 - 28 laps and fuel :/ but cuz you'll be a hell of a lot faster you can get to the pits with a big enough gap to get in and out :)

This setup won me a 200 lap race on daytona :D i was first for the whole 200 laps, no one could overtake me :)

Nice setup... Only 1 problem: It looks awfully familiar...
Try this and give me your thoughts.I really think sharing Nascar setups is a great idea.Makes the racing way more fun when your running the same setup for drafting.

Aero 20/40
Tranny 242 MPH
LSD 60/60/15
Suspension
Ride Height F 15 R 15
Spring F 18.5 R 18.5
Ext F 8 R 4
Com F 8 R 4
Roll F 4 R 4
Camber F 3.0 R3.0
Toe F .00 R .20
Brakes F 3 R 7
Soft tires
Give it a try and stay on the high line.

GTP_Big Daddy and krautfed both also share the same ride height, spring rates, shocks and sways. The only difference is camber/toe, but that's because they all originated from the same thread.

This is even better, you could have put in quotes for the solo and drafting.I really don't care if you give any of us props,I just highly doubt this was your tune. Also change the rear camber and final gear.If you read all my posts you'll figure it out.

I can get 25 laps on softs at Indy, but I Have to use Hard Tires on the race in question. In my testing I'm getting about 16 out of the Hard tires and am about a 5 tenths slower than the the fastest guy. Not sure what his setup is in terms of tire wear, but I figure if I can somehow get 20 laps out of the hard tires I should be better off even with being a little slower. My soft tire setup does not work at all on hard tires, hence my frustration. Right now during testing I am doing 10-12 laps full throttle on indy and at about lap 13 it falls off dramatically. I know that I'm never going to be able to get the same speed and tire wear on the hard tires as I do on the soft, but I'm sure there has got to be a way to get 20 laps out of those things and still be in the high 44 low 45 range.
I'm assuming your talking about Daytona? You should get 25 to 30 laps easy with soft tires. If your not getting 25 laps then your setup is wrong or your driving style is burning them off.
Here is my tune for Daytona with a wheel.

unfortunatley that set up is a purely daytona tune and that set up will not work at indy or at any of the road courses

but what i am really puzzled about is you say that set up won you a 200 lap race in which you lead from start to finnish ,but the PSN has been down for nearly 2 weeks ,who were you racing against?

Hmmmm ok, tbh i did originally get this setup off my m8 but changed the LSD, downforce ect, so he probably got his from here and changed it to his liking. But hey, just goes to show how much of a good setup it is :D :sly:

good win takes a lot to win a 200 lapper at daytona leading from first lap to last in online competition

Thanks :) i think i got lucky though with some of the race.
E.g. not spinning at the start when someone clipped me and pitting.

But also the lobby was only British and Americans so it was all fair play and a lot of fun.

Well when the PSN gets up hit me up and we can race.:)

Will this setup work for the extreme series event, even though asm is set on, and abs fixed at 1?

This setup is mainly for daytona and you can win hands down :D
As for Indy, keep looking around, i found a great post with a setup the helped me win the Indy race

Also turn off all aids and if you cant put ABS to 0 put it to 10, its the next best one.

Thanks I'll try that out!!

Hy, thanks for the advise, won it after the 3rd try, they spun me the first two times, I stayed with the pack and won on the last bend. :)

Edit:
Sorry for double post, hadn't realised.
