No other league has had an incident as severe as Ron Artest's meltdown, and never has an incident like that gotten so much press either. So yes, no other professional league has had a fight that huge between players and fans.


The NBA blows, if you want good basketball, watch it at the college level...it's a good example of how the NBA should be.

No other league has an incident as severe as the Ron Artest brawl? For some reason I don't think that is factual. I am not a huge sport fan at all - so you might be correct but if the Ron Artest incident is the biggest in any sport league than I am pretty shocked.

In the "Ron Artest brawl" there weren't any severe injury to anybody. Maybe a few black eyes and bruises but no death or severe injury was involved to the fans or players.

I seemed to remember a few hockey games where players climbed over the glass to go after fans. I think NHL must have a few bigger brawls in it’s time. I remember some baseball brawl that was huge in the 80s.

Anyways, you think the NBA suck just because of some idiot’s decision? Fine.

As rollazn mentioned, I don't think the Artest incident was the worst. If you include Soccer(real football), I'm sure they've had some crazy brawls.

You are right about that brawl being inexcusable though. I have an feeling, Ron Artest will never be taken seriously again, just like how Dennis Rodman was a joke in the last years of his career. Artests' behavior, as of late has been kind of crazy anyways, he sucks(as a person). 👎 Don't get me wrong, Pacers are my second favorite team.

yer, Denver was good, but i just didn't feel the atmosphere, LA was my favourite 👍 J-Rich with the off the glass between the legs!!! that was insane, you could've heard me all the way from Australia i was screaming so loud!!

Denver was good, but J-Smith just cleaned up, i wanted to see Lebron or some of the veterans like Vince do it again, or even Fred could've tried again!

Houston in 2006 is gonna be a lil weird with the huricane business...oh well, should be even BETTER i spose.
