I've been trying a long time to make a good 1/4mile tune for my ferrari enzo that doesn't require launching in 2nd gear. After hours or try and fail...I'm just wondering if somebody can post their tune for it. THAT DOES NOT LAUNCH IN 2ND GEAR.

You must be joking. Only a tunnel tune could do that and you'd need to short shift resulting in manual transmission. Why else would you use 1st?

I think he just wants to use auto.

I ran into some guy this afternoon bragging he had an automatic tune for his enzo. It pulled decent for the first half of the track then I buried him by almost 2 cars at the end. Sounds like a high top speed setup someone tweaked for Indy and failed.

Some slower tunnel tunes do this and lose out from power lagg at the longer higher gears (due to car limitations) and gear lagg

Well, if you hit the right numbers for the gears, an automatic tune has the potential to be one of the best. The working range is apparently ridicilously small, in some gears not even 0.005.

I'll show it the next time we see us. :)

Sorry noob here but whats "tunnel tune"?

Before SSRX there was a number of places to drag, Indy and SSR7 being the most popular (hence being nicknamed "the tunnel".) Among others were La Sarthe, Top Gear and Fuji.

Was his name tonybabe by any chance? I raced him with his auto tune and he had the same result, when he hit 4th-6th his enzo jerked back a car. 1st launches well but there is just to much gear lag in the higher gears no matter what you do.
