Need 4wd tuning help: front LSD

Okay so I've got a pretty good handle on RWD cars and I don't mess with FWD cars unless I absolutely have to, but lately I've been toying with 4wd cars (STi 22B in particular) and can't seem to figure out what to do with the front. I'm inclined to make it as much like a RWD car as possible but am I really wrong to do so? Understeering becomes more of an issue the more power I put into the front and I can't figure out how to quell it without decreasing front torque. Please help!

Hmm……Though I have next to zero tuning knowledge, I'm guessing the 'RJ FF LSD' method should work…It basically like having a scary high accel and very low initial and braking sensitivity. I think.

It makes the FF car in question have a tendency to oversteer, and should work with a 4WD diff.

I think. Anyways. Don't take my word for it, remember, I know nothing. :D

I'm the same as Onboy i know nothing and i just mess about till i find something that works,
my 22b settings are
front 40/60/5
rear 20/30/20

I still get bad understeer off throttle turning but on throttle it's not as bad as it was and i can power out the corner abit better.

I would want mild settings on the front to prevent understeer.

The strength of your LSD will also depend on how much torque goes to the front wheels I generally go 40/60 or 30/70. By those numbers front grip shoudnt be a problem hence 'mild' settings.

If in doubt look at some 4WD tunes , Zero_speeds 22B is a good example. Links in my sig.

Ive tuned a 4WD Legacy recently but I dont claim its perfect (just good) :D

Front 5/30-35/5-10 works for the most 4WD cars.
Low Initial and decel, high accel.
