Need a decent MR car

I'm still in the beginner races, and I need a MR car that will be able to win this cup without me having to soup it up alot.  I got about $25,000 now, but I could easily beat the FF and FR races and few more times to get some more cash. And ideas?

Well I can save up more if theres something better at say 30,000-35,000...just dont want to spend/save a whole lot since i dont plan to use this car other than the MR races

Then you should wait till you win a MR car from a race.
Acura NSX is a famous MR car, it costs about $90,000. Toyota GT-one is a great MR! Not only you can win the MR race easily, but you can use it to beat many races.
If you are just start this game, then the MR2 (not the MR-S) should be you best pick.

I personally purchased a turbo Subaru WRX and tricked it out, therefore I could race the turbo beginner races where I received 5k per win.  I would definately wait till you have enough money to buy the Honda NSX Type R, once you purchase this car you will be able to win the MR races as well as the Type R series, which is a series of 5 races where you get 5k per race you win, gold in all races = a 10k bonus + a Acura RSX which you can win more than once and sell for $7500, for a total of 42k for about 25 minutes of racing.... once you get to this point in the game making money afterwards is relatively easy.... the key is being patient enough to make your first 100k.  good luck fewls!

I didn't do any of the MR or N/A races at first.  Once got my first F-1 car (F090/s, almost everyone's first) though, I was happy to find out that it was MR and N/A.  You can just cruise through both with it.

I found it useful to save my game before I dropped any huge amount of $$$ on a new car, or to upgrade a car I've won. Horrorman might think it's CHEATING (it's just a game, dude!), but it's the best way to not get stuck with a lame-ass car. In summary: save game, buy car/upgrades, try car in race. If you like it: keep it. I'm using an NSX for MR and NA, it's a great car.

What about a Lotus Elise for the MR race.

I bought one for this race, didn't need to add any turbos, just a stage 1 muffler and it files through the race. When the time and cash is right I will turn this little car into a monster.

Yea, that Motorsport Elise was the first MR car I got (saved for it too) The problem is that that car doesn't go very fast ... if you compare with the NSX eh ... But it handles very very good !!!

Aggree MR 2, perhaps the GT-S(J) model.
Last night I won the Super Speedway Endurance with the same car, with just 239hp under the hood, close race with that Ruff RCT about 20 sec's at the finish. After 100 lap's.

PS If you have a MX-5, try the Roadsters Endurance, No car mod's allowed but for tyres, Pays 100k for a win :)

Could save up for a Lotus Elise like robie274 said. They're pretty good and very cool looking.
