I’m new to sim racing and bought a G29 a few days ago. But I’m honestly not liking it, I don’t like all the noise it makes and I don’t have the ffb cranked all the way up and it still have this problem. So, I’m planning on returning it and getting something else but not sure which one to go with. Should I go with the thrustmaster t300rs gt or just jump to the Fanatec CSL Elite? I can afford the Fanatec but if I don’t need it I rather spend less. I’ll be playing on PS4 and pc. Any help will be appreciated.

Happy Holidays!!

It depends on how often you use the steering wheel and whether you like to play with a steering wheel. If you are looking for something at the cost of a G29 which is not so noisy you can even buy Thrustmaster T150, of course T300 and CSL are better than T150 and G29.

I enjoy every second of it I just didn’t enjoy how cheap it feels. So if I go with the t300 I’ll be ok? I read they had issues before and not sure if that has changed.

Late to the party but I also had trouble with a malfunctioning T300RS. It was only 3 months old.

T300 is the definition of garbage. As well as those 2 pedals set.

I had 3 or 4. Had to return all.

After I got a T150. Still rock solid and silent and in terms of performance it's not that behind the t300.
