I don't necessarily need it, but, my current airbox has broken off one of it's mounts to the chassis, so I want to replace it, I don't know why it would've broken off, and it seems like the box is secure-ish without it, but, I don't want to risk it so I want to replace it.
I bought a new K&N filter, and was trying to open the airbox before it arrived so when it came I would know what I was doing, apart from one of the screws being difficult to reach without removing the air intake, the mount is broken too.
Irritatingly, I bought the filter before checking the box, no reason the box would be A. Broken or B. Hard to remove the cover for, so I didn't consider getting an after market one, which seems to be my easiest (albeit likely more expensive options) to continue.
I could just leave the air box the way it is now, and replace the filter when it arrives (with some difficulty), or, I could look for a new stock airbox.
Anyone know where they would go to find a stock 2001 Peugeot 306 XT Air Box? I'm thinking breakers, because ordering one from Peugeot direct (while it'll be new), will probably be ridiculously expensive, I'll check and if its, say less than $50 I might, but otherwise would rather get a used one, used car = used parts imo (or rather with my salary anyway).
