Yes, i would like to have a GT2 Virtual Memory card 100% savegame and if possible a Gt1 to go with it.

I found both of these in another topic but all i got when i unzipped it was a file that was called "GT1andGT2gamesaves.file"

Basically, it was useless.

Thankyou in advance.

That'll be my file and I think you'll find it's not useless at all.

However, I suspect your attempts at unzipping it were, given that you got a "*.file" file out of it.

I don't understand how i could screw up unzipping it.

The file is there, 15 kb and i right click on it and select "extract here"
I get a file that is called "GT1andGT2gamesaves" it is a ".file"

Am i doing it right?

Perhaps you could attach it again?

Are you using linux or something different?

Left click. Save as. When it has downloaded double click on it - this will open whatever compression program you use. Within GT1andGT2gamesaves.zip is a folder called PS3 - extract with full path.

Drag the PS3 folder, once unzipped, to your external memory device's root (so it's F:/PS3/ or whatever drive letter you're using). When saved, stick it into your PS3 and copy the gamesaves.

Windows XP SP2 with Windows Compressed File Wizard.

Thankyou for being so helpful, even with me being a bit of a dick.

Buuuuuuuuuutt ...

It won't work and tells me to "please insert next volume of multi part file" Or words to that effect. Perhaps the file is missing a bit for whatever a reason.

You're not using Vista are you, by any chance?

Download the free trial of WinRAR and use that to extract the files.

Actually, i'm using xp and i am using winrar.

Is it possible for a file or files to like ... miss parts of them? Making the extraction programme see them as incomplete?

I have no idea what the issue is... I have no problems downloading and extracting the file using the exact same programs - and this isn't the computer that originally had the files on before they were uploaded to GTP.

Try a fresh download - left click, rather than right/save as.

I actually copied these this weekend and they were fine, good job Famine!

My PS1 memory cards are somewhere over the hills I think!

When I origionally requested these files, I had the same problem.

I used 7zip and that solved the problem, so I suggest using 7zip.
