Omg it's not that hard. What would it take for me to buy a new EA game?
• No Origin bull:censored:
• No over-the-top lens flare
• No ram-everyone-off-the-track-to-win gameplay
• No microtransactions whatsoever
• No rubberbanding
• Extremely detailed customization for all cars
• EA surrendering their Porsche licensing stupidity so other developers can use Porsche in their games
When i fire up Shift2 i think what a waste of game it is, i mean: good graphics, ok career, nice selection of cars but when it comes down to driving it just sucks big time.Hopefully we don't wind up with another game like Shift 2...Sure they got the engine noises and the looks right, but that was about it. The lens flare was distracting, and it's unplayable on a steering wheel with that horrid input lag. You really need to think ahead to play that game on a wheel.
Ugh looks like some faulty game design choice.I bought Rivals for the PC, only to discover that no steering wheels are supported. They have had the last of my money they are going to get. Shift 1 & 2 were good, though.
I'm not too sure about this; in my opinion EA is not able to release a decent game since 2006 (and carbon wasn't even that much good.)More and more companies are getting in the industry, and if the demand gets high enough, they either negotiate that license thing with other companies willing enough to spend their money or they'll completely give up on that, because i think that the porsche exclusive content might be a little expensive to keep. (keeping in mind that EA risked going bankrupt a few number of times,if you google it you'll find mentions of that going from 2010 to 2013)And EA's not gonna be giving up that license for Porsche, considering that's all they really got going for them.
It's not all about the porsche thing, don't get me wrong i love the full customization of the nfs series, the cool graphics and the sound from the games really give the cars a personality but the precision in rendering every detail and aspect of a car doesn't translate in a precision in driving; if on GT to get a good turn you've got to move the stick of half centimeter on NFS you've got to turn the analog all over and pray that the turn doesn't go as bad.@MarchingSaint
Yeah, good point on the Porsche thing. I just figured that since Porsche is the only advantage need for speed have over the other driving games, they'd be reluctant to give up their trump card. But yeah, considering PD have a good relationship with Porsche and all that jazz, I guess it's only a matter of time before EA finally cave or go bankrupt and give up the license.
Nice catch. It would make sense for them to be sponsored by EA and NFS so I think there's a likely chance that's it.Meanwhile on the Front Bumper of Ken Block's RTR Mustang...
Possibly a 2015 release title?

And then a timer because EA wants more money even though if it's not on mobile."No Limits," until you hit a paywall.

Well EA isn't like this. I think they are more like just get the job done and sell it. I do love NFS but to be honest Asphalt Overdrive is a good example for what you said. Pay to keep playing *timers* and pay to get the cooler rides. *Gold, you can earn gold however without paying real money*Exactly.
"EA has sort of accidentally had to reveal that Need for Speed: No Limits is a mobile game. All thanks to Ken Block, who is famous for doing elaborate skids.
Block revealed a new car on his Facebook page, an image of which you can see above. And if you look closely you'll spot ads for a new Need for Speedgame on it. This it turns out is EA's first mobile exclusive Need for Speedgame."
Isn't The Crew also going to be getting Porsches? I thought I saw a few images on the internet with possibly some Porsche Caymans. Who knows, could pretty much be RUFs.EA has paid (or still paying, depending on how the contract is set up) for exclusive rights to Porsche, better keep that licence useful somehow.
They're RUFs.Isn't The Crew also going to be getting Porsches? I thought I saw a few images on the internet with possibly some Porsche Caymans. Who knows, could pretty much be RUFs.

That's pretty much the car I sawed.I reckon this is what you saw? (RUF 3400 K)

To back things up. Ghost games did made a statement a while back saying that if NFS Rivals reached 15 million sales, then they would make Underground 3. So after remembering the statement and reading that fansided post, this might be real. I think i've seen more people wanting heists to come to GTA Online more then NFS fans begging for Underground 3. Boy these people are crazy with the heists that they keep posting this stuff on the internet with speculations of possible release dates for Heists on GTA Online.Sounds like a load of garbage by some troll on 4chan. The number one rule about that site (As it should be for EVERY page you visit on the internet) is you should never take what you read as 100% fact. It doesn't sound true and I know EA will not bring back what fans want. I do not trust EA period. They overhype their awful games and charge you for things that should have been in the game in the first place. Also, having to sign up for Origin just to play is ridiculous.
They actually said that?Ghost games made a statement a while back saying that if NFS Rivals reached 15 million sales, then they would make Underground 3.
