NEED FOR SPEED MULTIPLAYER

Ok so I bought the game and I can't seem to find any multiplayer in it , can someone tell me if there are multiplaye racing events or such ?

Once you've passed the first couple of missions and have gotten into freeroam, people will automatically join your game depending on who's on your server. I'm not sure if there are multiplayer racing mission events, but there is a way to challenge them to a race if you see them driving around in freeroam.

To race with people, you guys have to be at the same race at the same time. Or if your in a crew, you can invite your crew mates to the race your at.

Where exactly do you see. Where racers are on map. Doesn't show any online events going on. Its just people driving around whenever...I be on it lol.
