I have searched and couldn't find any tunes for this car, it is actually pretty good stock but I know someones got to have better luck than me. I'll post what I have so far.I have learned that due to its light weight it reacts to very small adjustments so i've kept my changes small.I'm just using a level 2 weight and engine upgrade and a wing thats about it really. Anyone have any thoughts

These things are loose... The rear end really wants to come around under braking/deaccelerate.

I've got an almost fully-modded '02 and it's so wild that it's hardly drivable. I haven't spent much time trying to tune it but I'm not too good at tuning anyway so I'd love to see someone post their thoughts on how to do this car up right.

Side note: I know quite a few people who own 2002s (turbos, tii's, and reg. ol' carb ones) and everysingle one of them says the car is planted to the road like a go-kart. It seems kinda strange, then, that the one in GT5 (even in it's stock form) is tail-happy and out of control.

This is especially true online, where grip seems to differ for some reason. My mostly stable tune in practice mode is incredibly tail happy online.

My tune consists of spring rates right about the middle of the scale, around 6-7 on the dampers depending on the track, -.05 front toe, +.10 rear toe, 2.5 camber front, 0.8 camber rear. This will give you a fairly neutral car online with occasional tendancy to oversteer on deceleration.

This setup achieved a 1:46.66 on Cote d'Azur for me with a few mistakes due to driver error. This is a hard car to tune, one of the hardest I have tuned yet. Took quite a few hours to get to this point, and many times starting over. Hope this helps you.

I was having the same problem.. the simple solution is dropping a LSD (differential) in the car and turning the deceleration setting up to around 40. This did wonders for the car, at least when using a wheel.

While the first setup I provided did produce a respectable lap time it was not well suited for general driving scenarios so I spent some time today doing a proper re-tune for the 2002 Turbo '73 which can crank out easily repeatable 1'21" lap times with race hards on Deep Forest Raceway.

I started by dropping the part mods down to only the engine tune 3 for 202 HP @ 918 KG and equipping the car with comfort tires and all default suspension, lsd, and transmission. Found the spring rates I was happy with and reequipped the car back to full power with stock transmission, still found spin outs to be problematic after tuning lsd so switched up to sport soft tires, and it was almost perfect handling off the line.

Edit: Clipped and modified first post above to reflect my final tune for this car. I'm happy with it, hope you will find it a thrill to drive also. :)

nice tune i rekon. did the tune with a few minor adjustment s to toe and slapped on racing soft and got 1:17:xx @ deep forest after like 3 laps.
tried to tune with out the spoiler and just slid everywhere. shame the stock spoilers just cant have like 10 downforce, surely that s why they were there on the cars in the firstplace.

care to try and adjust something for withou t the spoiler :D

thanks
