It can be done, but how, I don't know. If you wanted to be able to keep the original wheel you'd probably have to clone the circuit board inside the wheel because I imagine (I could be wrong of course) the rotary encoder (the red dial) requires some circuitry and it wouldn't surprise me if the button matrix that was in the DFP has been changed to a digital serial arrangement to save on wires going to and from the wheel, meaning that if I'm right it's not as simple as wiring buttons to wires. Either way, I personally don't know for sure so I can't help you with that.

As for actually mounting the wheel and stick, you'll probably have to work that out yourself because I doubt anyone has done this with your particular wheel before.

And what's wrong with the DFGT in the first place? You don't consider switching from some low end wheel to Logitech mid end wheel as an upgrade?

Off course it would be done but you won't find any schematics to such transition. You would have to disassemble both wheels and use a head a lot 💡 I'm not sure if it's worth it.

well i dont like how skinny the dfgt is and the other wheel has more "bulk" to it. i was also considering modding it with the simraceway wheel.
