Hello all. I know I'm a little late on this, but I'm trying to catch up on some unfinished seasonals. I am having a lot of trouble winning the 710pp nurburgring dream car seasonal. I've won all the other races in this seasonal, but I'm consistently finishing in 2nd place, about 10-12 seconds behind the rabbit car (jaguar xjr-9 LM race car) at nurburgring.

My plan of action right now is to go into practice mode and repeatedly run the nurburgring until I can finish with a lap time quicker than that of the rabbit. If anybody has any thoughts, tips or suggestions (like cars/ tunes to use) that might help me win this race, I would greatly appreciate it. Nothing I've found on here has worked so far.

Thanks

I've done it with several cars now. Fastest was a Sauber C9, with softer suspension, not fully lowered and maximum down-force, you need to gear for a drafting pass on the long straight, so I geared it as four speeds plus a close fifth gear for the pass. The lowest pp car I used was a Calsonic GT-R, with High Turbo. This was a real challenge with me running several second places before eventually passing the rabbit on the uphill corners at the close of the lap for the win.

Running the Norschleife isn't about going at 100% but rather keeping it clean and as fast as possible.

Thanks, normally I don't have trouble on this track, but catching the rabbit has proven to be difficult for me in this particular seasonal. Been practicing it in practice mode and your exactly right, keeping it clean (and consistent) while being as fast as possible is definitely the key. I've shaved 8 seconds off my lap time so I'll try catching the rabbit again soon. Hopefully successfully

I usually use an Audi R8 with no modification at all. I will say that I am far slower than the average racer and I on a good run catch the Jag around the carousel.

There are many cars that will win this quite easily. The key, I think is this:

Running the Norschleife isn't about going at 100% but rather keeping it clean and as fast as possible.

Wise words indeed... :)👍

The Bentley was the best for me at the Nurburgring. Easy win no aids.

Yes the Bentley's not the fastest car in the game but is easy to drive both quickly and precisely, making the Nordschleife a great place to drive it. I do like that car!

SUCCESS!! I finally caught the 🤬 rabbit. Won with the Nissan R92CP race car. Only took me about 30 tries lol :dunce:. Got a Nissan R89C race car for completing the series, which sucks because its blacklisted and its the third one in my garage :banghead:🤬:irked: oh well. Thanks everyone for your input 👍:)
