JDM_ALL_DAY
ok my technique right know is as follows when the turn comes up i shift down to the coresponding gear break then turn i counter steer but my car spins out what am i doing wrong use to drift in mcla :dunce:

http://s1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc496/GT5-DRIFTER/?action=view&current=HighSpeedRing_4.jpg im currently doing this this is my best drift so far yes im a neewb i use the techinque i do but it only seems to work 1/10 times

You shift down , brake, then turn? How fast are you going before shifting down?

Anyway, go to the sticky and watch drift bible.

How long have you been drifting, and are you using a wheel or a controller?

Edit: and High Speed Ring really isn't the place to practice fundamental technique in my opinion. Autumn Ring Mini is a good start.

My Advice Is Start Of Small... Buy a Suzuki Cappuccino, Work It A little bit put comfort hards and do what your instincts tell you. My advice on which track to try is whatever you feel like

Some will say watch the Drift Bible, others will say practice online. Many will probably point out that we do have a drift school/teachers. But I will say have fun with it.

This, they explain fundamental techniques to initiate a drift. Can't go wrong watching it.
