Hi guys, Im big fan of gt, id played all the series and had completed 100% all of them expect gt5.

i'd never played a wheel before , Need your advice guys , Im about to get Thrustmaster T-gt the new wheel. i know its expensive but its worth using it for my fav game and im spending more time playing GT, i have got many questions before i buy it

1- is it more fun than controller ?
2- does using a wheel harder than using ps4 controller ?
3- is there any difference time i mean going faster time by using a wheel racing ?

need your opinions people, and sorry for my language :D

Here are my opinions: Get a Fanatec CSL Elite with the CSL Elite LC pedals, you'll have a better piece of kit than the T GT wheel.

As for your questions:

1- Hell yes
2- At first, but you get used to it rather quickly
3- You will be faster with a wheel, just due to being smooth with it.

thanks for your reply, do you think its better than T-GT ?

Once you go with a wheel there's no turning back. I can't stand playing with a controller anymore. I went ahead and ordered a G29 to replace my G27 last night.

Your G27 will work on your PS4 if you buy Drive Hub for about $90. Drive Hub supports a wide range of wheels making them all work on PS3, PS4 and Xbox One

It's been a while since Ive looked into them but I thought that the adaptors affect the performance of the wheel?

1- you know it is that’s why you want a wheel :D
2- it is actually the other way around
3- of course but it will take time.

As for the wheel i would go for something else. Why?
You will end up looking for a racing simulator cockpit one day, it is the natural second step after buying a wheel so maybe save some money and buy something cheaper Thrustmaster T300 GT edition or Fanatec CSL PS4 elite.

But if you have to then go with the CSL elite with shifter SQ and Porsche 918 RSR or formula steering wheel(s). Maybe a handbrake as well if supported on PS4 for drifting? :D

Old pic just to show difference between Fanatec & Thrustmaster pedals.

Haven't used my ClubSport Pedal V3s on my PS4 yet (my CSL Elite is arriving today). How much functionality is there when connected to a wheel base?

Namooh? :D good choice in deciding to get a wheel. I'm a starter too and I'm still getting used to it, but it's so much smoother with a wheel.

If you're a hardcore player, be sure you get proper setup, T500RS or a Fanatec, if you're only casual racer, go for budget ones.

See you later in-game, we just "won" another evening \o

hey bro, nice to playing with you yesterday, please add me on this: my psn: Nayrooox

ill leave that account

DriveHub doesn't. No Lag, no problems. Been playing the whole beta with it with no issues at all.

I'll second the DriveHub. Using the Thrustmaster TX with it and it works as advertised. Easy to set up and no issues. Force feedback works as expected.

Using a wheel is way more fun. Not sure if your faster though. Depends on you skills on the pad. If you have deep pockets get the TGT. But if it's a large investment for you, g29 or t300 maybe even t150. You probably can get all of them for the same price as 1 TGT! It's overpriced.. 599 would have been reasonable. If it included newly designed (loadcell) pedals I already would have preordered it.

congrats
You won’t get getting any gas or brake vibration like you do on PC.
Don’t have the clubsport handbrake so not sure if it is supported on PS4 when connected to the ClubSport pedals V3.

I have the PlaySeat Challenge and like it a lot.

As for the T-GT wheel, I'd probably only recommend getting it if you're loaded on cash. From what I've read, it isn't MUCH better than the significantly cheaper T300.

I also love my playseat challenge. Folded it takes hardly any room. Setting it up takes only a few minutes!

The Driver Hub is made by Collective Minds?

Can Sony ban you account or in the worst scenario your console for using "Non Official" accesories?

I hope once fanatec is implemented into gtsport the vibration on the pedals will work. In other games the vibration works.
For the handbrake to work needs to be connected to base and not through the pedals.

Yes. It is “Drive Hub” by Collective Minds.

This device makes a wheel appear as a supported model. The games (GTS, PCars 2, DIRT Rally) say I have a G29 when I use either a G27 or G920 via Drive Hub. Both are “official accessories”. So nobody knows I’m using a G27 or G920 on my PS4.

Of course it is. My bad.
I wish PD will fully support the csl but i really doubt this will happen soon.

if in your place have official fanatec web store, go for fanatec over t-gt.

the loadcell brake technology is why I prefer them over t-gt

I have the CSLE, I would wait until they fix some of the game destroying bugs. GT Sport with the CSLE is not enjoyable at all
