Well, I dont know about the 1/4, but try to figure out the speed you should hit in the 1/4, while having good acceleration all the way. I only do the full tunnel, and i can say that it works good if you set your gears so you will have a close geared transmission = you dont loose rpm while shifting gears. I set my transmission so i only losing 1000 rpm while shift. In this case you get a simulation of an automatic transmission even if you are driving manual.

The best tuning for a Cuda is not buying a Cuda.

After fully upgrading my Cuda and taking my first test drive, I would have agreed. But being a huge muscle car fan, I had to take a shot at making the Cuda work. I'm still working on the suspension handling, but I did find a suprizing amount of speed and accel from it when I messed with the gearing. The mod trans at default is WAY over geared. Try adjusting the top speed adj down slightly, adj the final gear down to around 3.08 and adj 4th and 5th gears as tall as possible. This will put the predicted top speed ridiculously high, but take it on the track that way, you'll be amazed. I found it helps to manually shift, the Cuda sometimes drags out 4th too long with auto

The only muscle cars worth messing with for drag racing are the vipers and vettes. They'rs the only ones that make 900+ hp. So far my Viper GTS is the fastest drag car I have with almost 1000hp. It hits 240mph at the end of the tunnel on SSR7 without draft.

The key to drag racing is the trans. setup and suspemsion. Set the rear gear high like 4.100 to 4.500 and tune gears 1 through 6 after you set the rear gear. For suspension you want the weight to transfer to the rear as fast as possible. Soften up the rear's spring rate and dampers. I learned on GT4 that if you set to front camber to the max you would get a faster time on the 400M because less tire is on the ground so there is less rolling resistance, but we can't test that on GT5 yet.

BTW STOP BUMPING YOUR THREAD!!!!!! everybody sees it they just choose not to comment so don't force people to. I only commented because i've seen it 5 times and maybe this will keep you quiet for a while. Also there is this fancy thing called google where you can search the entire internet for answers. For further info search for drag racing setup tips. You have 3 threads and 9 posts, don't expect everything to be handed to you on here, use your research skills.
