I'm attempting to make this car. I'm having a hard time figuring out the silver- blue or ice blue on the right rear of the car.

Any help with the number settings or how to get it would be great.

Thanks

Nice looking car.

Looking at the image you provided, I am wondering about the textures of the paint of this car. The white & the red appear to be solid paint while this ice blue looks as if it is a metallic paint.

My suggestion would to be to begin with the ice blue as a logical base paint. You should be able to specify a light blue color, then choose metallic as a 'Finish'. Remember to experiment with both the S & the V parameters; I expect lower S value combined with higher V values will match best. I have success with using the DS4 left joystick to position the cursor in the palette color square to quickly evaluate different choices.

I often am not satisfied with the appearance of metallic paints designed as described above as they seem to lack the metallic aspect I desire. The lighter shades, however, do perform better for me.

Special Color metallic & chrome choices due to GTS's choice of default HSV paramaters often disappoint because they are a bit too saturated for my liking. To accomplish the hues I desire, I have created a simple set of square shaped decals with various opacity, e.g., 2%, 5%, et.al. I paint the car a neutral metallic or chrome paint (W or K) & layer on one or more of these decals. (Color Change paints and some of the pearl grey Real Color paints accept these decals with pleasing results as well) Setting the HSV for the decal(s) will lightly color the metallic. The metallic luster will dull increasingly with the aggregate level of opacity, so keep the coverage low. These decals also look nice for coloring nonmetallic elements (chrome, CFRP, fabric) often found in the 'Other' workspace of liveries. Here is a recent example which might closely approximate to your sample's blue:

I have shared those decals in my profile which you should be able to access from the above link.

Good luck!
