Im having troubles with the Bspec #5 650PP race. My driver always hits the wall after the tunnel and the best i have gotten out of him is 2nd place with the Pagani Zonda LM Race Car and the BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race car. Any suggestions on which car to use to beat them?

I used the Ford GT LM spec II test car and my Bob hit the wall a couple of times too but still brought home the bacon :)

I'll give it a go and let you know how i get on

I can recommend the Mazda 787B. This car has got possibly the widest rear tyres in the game and therefore offers immense grip.

Funny enough, tyre width is such a boring characteristic that even PD didn't include it in their PP calculating algorithm.

I think it's an unfortunate situation where you can be fast enought to catch the "rabbit" but always seem to overtake at that point and hit the wall. It drove me insane too. perseverance is the key. just keep your Bob cool, and the win will come. The car isn't really the main issue here, so your choice there is ok.
(It's not much of a tip I admit, but more of a personal experience)

Its just this one race too. Ive done the rest but this one is annoying the life out of me, im dokng it now with the r8 lms race car as i type this haha. Hopefully the win pops up, if not then ill try the ford gt test car

All is good i finally done it with the r8 lms race car. Puushed my driver as hard as i could, won by 21.661. I can give my tune for this car if anybody wants it too, just message me and ill put up a new thread with this tune :)

How do I go about getting me the 787B? The car looks great I haven't used it since GT4

The Chappy 2J was an easy win. You need to slow/calm Bob down on the first couple of laps. Then he should be able to do his thing. (Use a Bob with a calm temperament) Reduce the 2J's top speed for this track as well.

The R8 LMS Race Car does the job easily.

i dont do b spec races a lot but i can recommend the minolta at 650pp it might help you if not then another car is the jaguar xjr9 lm race '89 premium but good luck on your b spec races

I finally just won this race after about 30-40 attempts. Key is to keep your Bob calm so he doesn't try to overtake ever at the chicane after the tunnel.

I used the R35 GTR touring car from the "racing cars" downloadable pack and kept re-loading the race until there wasn't a Zonda or McLaren GTR on pole. In the end the pole guy was in a GT by citroen race car and the second place guy was in a Ferrari 330P4. Got into the lead on lap 8 of 10 by keep Bob calm from Casino to the tunnel exit each lap.
