Need help with deciding a pistol to get.

I am planning on getting a pistol whenever I get my tax returns in. Anyome have any suggestions of types to get? The only thing that I am picky about with the pistol is that it has to be .45 caliber. I have another gun that shoots .45 ACP, so I'd want to correlate the ammo, and also, I like the power behind the .45. If any of you have any .45's, please give me some reviews on different types.

I looked at both the links you put and looked through them a little. It seems like they've gotten pretty far from talking about guns themselves, more about gun control and stuff. Is there any way someone could show me a better place to put it or whatever I have to do. I'd just like to get some personal opinions about same type, caliber, and make of the gun and have had experience. Lol. May be making it more complicated than it should be, but I don't know how to do much stuff forum wise through my phone.
