Need Help with Gran Turismo Championship

I was playing GT4 and noticed that i had beaten all the Beginner Events and the Professional events except the last one. When i went to try and race it the game told me to win all the races and i checked and i got gold on all of them. Can someone help me figure out why this happened?

You're not alone in asking this, but unfortunately the answer is always the same, you've either missed a race, confused a gold trophy with a bronze one (they do look similar on some TVs) or you've won all the races but not completed the championship (you must win the gold championship trophy too in order to unlock GTWC.)
