I have a Kodak Z740 and it came with a 45.5 mm - 55mm lense adapter. I want to get a fisheye lense for it. I looked on eBay and Google a little bit, but I was wondering if any one can help me find one. My price range is $20 - $100. No more than that. Thanks for any help,

-Matt.

By fisheye do you mean a true 180-degree field of view, or do you just mean extra wide? I seriously doubt you're going to get a fisheye for that. I presume you're talking about the telephoto and wide-angle adapters that attach to the front of the lens. Those have a practical limit of about 1.5x either direction, so you'd get nothing that would go wider than .7 or .8 of your minimum zoom setting. Just a little wider than built in.

Those adapters do weird things, especially at extreme ends of your exposure settings, like cutting off the corners, or blurring outside the center.

Just trying to set expectations. I don't know if such adapters are even available for that camera.

I personally like canon camera, but my friends give me a Kadak z650 as a christmas gift. So I have to get a lenses that fit it, searched some online for this Opteka Fisheye Lens for Kodak EasyShare Z650/Z740, with the adapter supplied with the camera the lens fits fine. I'm not a photographer so I cannot give a professional description of how well the lens works, but it does seem to be made very well and it definitely gives photos a wide angle. And, more importantly, it does fit the my camera! I think you can have a try, for only $30.
