Need helps for GT World League

I don't know why,but everytime i make a racecar(i love racing modifications & a bit upset because PD remove it in the next GT),it's overkill in all race,except the GT World League.Can somebody help me to choose a car to RM-ed and still give a challenge in GT League?
I decide to:
-use normal,sports,racing hard,or racing medium tires
-auto set the gears between 18 to 22
-fully upgraded,since it's GT World League,remember?
Actually,some names lingering in my mind,like the Impreza or Lancer,but i don't know if they worthy enough to try.Any helps will be appreciated.

You'll be happy to know that in the World Cup you can go for overkill, especially if the Toytota TSO20 shows up. Super-soft tires,...full-custom everything, and (of course) racing kit should be included, with the highest downforce if possible.

Imprezas and Lancers make poor cars for these races..unless we're talkin' the rally cars...and even these can be challenging to try. The "regualar" STis and Evos just haven't got enough power to compete, tho.

To go the safest route, there are (of course) many Skyline GTRs you can try...especially AWD versions. Full weight reductions, of course, along with that race-kit. 💡 The '93 Supra might be a bit hard for you to handle, since it's RWD and plenty skittish at full-speed, but you can try this, too. Anything with over 700 horses can do it...but (as I said) to be safe, you might wanna try an AWD GTR the first time.

I know how hard these are....your nerves will be shot by the end of each race...remember this: as you follow other cars into corners, make sure to give PLENTY OF BRAKE TIME...more than usual. You may otherwise find yourself skidding off into a wall becuause when you follow an Ai, what happens is you lose most of your downforce. GT2 is the only game that does this, not sure why they dropped it for GT3 & 4.

Actually,i clear the game 98.20%(i have the glitchy ver.1.0) with R32 GT-R Nismo as GT World League grand champion.After all,i've already said:

Okay, you're saying you already won the world cup? I still say you can use super-soft tires, you'll still have plenty of challenge left. Let's see how you do with hard or medium tires, tho.

Well if you want a challenge (don't we all) there's lots of cars you can choose. I personally did World cup in a Viper GTS, Corvette Grand Sport, '92 Mitsubishi 3000GT (these 3 were rm'd), Vector 600LM, Venturi Atlantique LM, and the Espace F1 and Honda S2000 GT1. Probably a couple other cars I'm forgetting.

Try the GT300 cars. With or without SS tires. The BP Trueno and Xanavi Silvia are good choices.
