Need some Advice - Ferrari 458 Italia

Hello everyone. Im running a Ferrari 458 for a GT Series thats going on, fist race is on saturday. I have chosen the 458 as my car of choice. Regulations are 502 HP 1240 KG. at La-Sarthe

I have spent the past 2 days tuneing and setting this car up. Trying different things to see what works and what doesnt work. I build all my own tunes to my likeing. Now the problem i am having is that my tires are not heating up. Im at lap 6 with a little more than half tread life left on all 4 tires but they are staying cold..still light blue-ish.

Is this due to the fact that im running at La-Sarthe? I dont really run this track a whole lot. Im more use to the Northern Loop and having the tires nice and warm by maybe half way at the most. Could it be possible its just the track due to its long straight aways cooling the tires down to much?

Im still getting the understanding of balancing the car out. I'am playing with the Ballast and right now and have it set to 32kg at the -50 position, setting the car balance to 43/57. To set the car 50/50 i would need to add 183kg to the car, and well thats a little to much for me haha.

If i run a more aggressive front toe will this help? should i try playing with ride height and spring rates? just looking for advice not looking for someone to post up and say this is the set up i use.. or try this set up...Like i said i like to build and have my own tunes. Would like to have the tires getting warm after turn 2 or 3 on the 3rd lap that would be great.

Any help would be wonderful. thank you for your time

Try someone else' tune.
If the tires heat up, it's an issue with your tune.
If they don't, it's the nature of the track.

Starting to think it's the nature of the track. Tried 3 different set ups. None that I liked to begin with but same tire issue. I noticed going onto the 3rd or 4th lap the first section tires start to warm up but once your on the straight they cool right back down.

The left side of suspension is backwards - so irl stiffening the rear helps reduce understeer, in GT5, you need to stiffen the front.
And a lower front than rear helps reduce understeer also, just remember they're backwards. ;)

I thought the update fixed these problems. And the car is turning fine and very little oversteer but it's just heating up them tires

The only other test I could offer, is doubling your camber front and back.
Check to see how it effects tire warm up, and more importantly car handling as well as tire wear.

I know it is, the test is to compare:
Proper Camber + No heat vs Improper Camber + Warm Tires (if it even works)
Sometimes you have to think outside of the box. 1 step backwards, 2 steps forwards is still progress in the right direction.

Versa Visa. Unless you were referring to the real world again.
Well in GT5 from what I've seen a high front gives oversteer, which is backwards, but I only really did that with 1 RM Civic.

Sounds like you're over driving to me, in any case if the tires are red slowing down usually helps, but tuning helps more.

Doubling camber did nothing but wear tires out more for that track. I tried a ford Gt I had and a SLS AMG and both having hard time to heat the tires up. Must be the track. Oh well.

I don't think I'm over driving if my tires are staying blue.
