I've never done any drag-tuning before this and I thought I would take a shot. I've done lots of Top Speed record runs before, but that's a whole another bag of tricks altogether. Anyhow, I was wondering if someone could help me setup my Viper SRT10 ACR '08. I've gotten to a certain point and I'm not sure how to proceed from here. I think I'm running okay times, but I still need a few pointers I guess.

1.29G

Power: 1031HP | Weight: 1257KG | PP: 675

Suspension
Ride Height: -20/40
Spring Rates: 18.0/7.5
Dampers (Extension): 10/1
Dampers (Compression): 1/10
Anti Roll: 1/1

Toe: -1.00/0.70

LSD: 60/60/5

Miscellaneous
Aero: 10/35
Clutch: Twin Plate
Flywheel: Standard (Gave me a nice speed boost coming from a Semi Racing)
Driveshaft: Carbon Drive Shaft

Transmission
1: 4.117 - Not used
2: 3.089
3: 2.514
4: 2.080

FN: 2.279
Top: 137 MPH
Top Speed(Upper): 176 MPH

Thanks !

175-185 top speed is good but i need a graph...

Raise the front and max your spring rates

Here you go, Thank you.

There is one big thing that is killing you..
Your final gear ratio is set at 2.279.
For the 1/4 mile, a final gear at its lowest setting is most beneficial.

Your tranny looks great besides that one minor thing. I suggest a reflip (I know it sucks).
Set your final gear so that after your flip the final gear is equal to 2.000.

Forgot, Also have Chassis Reinforcement installed on the car, Is that bad or does it make no difference?

Will try the reflip.

Yeah, the graph looks OK but your Final Gear should Ideally be at its lowest. Either way, I'm not sure what the average BSL is for the ACR, what kind of times do you get with an Timed / RPM launch? If its anywhere between 9.000 to 9.015 then it's competitive enough mate!

Haven't tried a timed launch, so no idea. Like I said, I've just started doing anything to do with drag racing.

You can take 3,4 lower for more pull, change your lsd 5/5/5 I find it gives more consistiant times

Lower your toe to 60-65
Camber 2.0-4.5
Play with your dampers, can knock off 0.05 of your time

Not true. I have cars with 4.5 finals and rape online.

Chassis reinforcement is for cornering. Your going straight. Don't waste your cash.

LSD makes no difference, its for cornering. All it does is (in a nutshell) allow the inside wheel to spin faster or slower around a corner depending on the setting. Your going straight, therefore no difference.Dampers at most will knock off .008. On a ACR, you'll be lucky to see .003 faster.

You just contradicted yourself.. First You said lsd makes no different. Then you say at best 03 ? Lol... Every little counts kid 👍

I think he was meaning the dampers will make up to a 0.003 difference, not the lsd. but yeah, 0.003 (or up to 0.005 as you said) i agree is definitely a big enough difference to mess around with if your into leaderboard submissions... online though, im not so sure. I personally run between 8.998 and 9.002 consistently in my viper on default LSD and default dampers purely cause of the tests I done in my gtr when I was a black edition fan boy and tuned it for like 3 hours, gave me the same times on dampers set at 10-1 & 1-10, the two extremes...

Maybe someone can clarify the importance of them though.. Or why one extreme to the other would give off the exact same times on an auto tune where driver error/ or better shifting wouldn't act as a placebo in attributing a better time to a change in dampers or LSD??

Aside from the dampers, I share the same views with the LSD, just purely because iv managed the exact same times on 5/5/5 as 60/5/5 on an awd car anyway, unsure how it affects the Rwd viper though. Again tho, I just dip in and dip out of the drag scene from time to time and don't know every nook and cranny. Or however that phrase is spelled! Lol

I've found in some cars that extreme front camber slows you down, I find between 3 and 4 go be good.
