Updated: Still continue to have issues with low Volt on the PSU, I think. I keep getting a warning about the +3.3V being like around 2.850-2.975 V... And then it goes up to normal, then down again, then up again, then down again.

I have updated my BIOS to latest version and it seemed to help alot...

But just a few minutes ago I had a random shut down again.

Also, to get these issues, only thing I do other than normal is either having a HDMI connected to the TV (for dual screen), or a 3.5 mm jack to a speaker for sound.

Is it a faulty PSU?

Old: Recently I have had problems that my PC would shut down and reboot by itself, and I have no idea what's causing it.

I've contacted the site where I purchased the parts and they said it might be a PSU fault or a need for BIOS update.

Thing is, i've looked on ASUS' site for updates to my motherboard but there isn't any. At least I can't find it.

Can anyone help me with it?

Some details:

ASUS Sabertooth X79, Socket-2011
ATX, X79, 8xDDR3, 3xPCIe(3.0)x16, CFX&SLI, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.0, FW, UEFI

This is where I tried downloading it from:

Make sure you name the bios file correctly.

These new UEFI bios files are stupid with their need to have correct name.

Yeah after a bit back and forth and asking a friend, we (he) figured out that my BIOS version was old.... Very old.

So after converting it, then updating it to the newest version I haven't encountered the problem. Yet.

However, I have also removed my 2nd GTX780 meanwhile.

Hoping that this will fix the issue.

After collaborating with a friend, we both agree that it could be either a bad rail in the PSU or the Motherboard itself. If you can get your hands on another PSU and see if you have the same problem, that would probably help you greatly.
