I can get the car to slide. And hold it quite nicely.. However I can't seem to "get out" of it without crashing. I suppose it has to do with steering, but it seems after a nice long slide, and i turn the wheel and let of the gas to get going straight again the car just shifts to the opposite side i'm drifting on. BANG! Right into the wall.. Now I've been "drifting" since i bought prologue about a year ago, and I STILL can't do it. I'm getting a bit cross really.. Feels like I've tried everything by now. I've never bothered using the clutch since I forget to press triangle or whatever it is.. It doesn't even work half of the time I try it anyway..
I'm using G25.. :nervous:

Well, when you let of the gas so suddenly your front tires regain alot of grip causing them to do what they want.

Try feathering off your throttle instead of abruptly letting off.

and instead of trying to go back to straight operation, you may want to try to transition into a smaller drift in the opposite direction...start off chaining a big drift into smaller drifts and work towards much smaller and less amount of drifts after your big drift...once you get the hang of that, try to control the exit of your drift with gas feathering as mentioned above back to a straight line....doing a few small and quick left-rights on the steering also helps straight from what i know....pro drifters correct me if i'm wrong please >_<
