I feel like Drag Racing, and NASCAR Racing are the two areas people are, understandably, the least willing to share set ups, or help each other. The playing field is so limited to the actual tune of the car, that giving up your secrets is the last thing you want to do.

Yeah drag is all tuning my friend. Noone will give out their exact tune but they can give you tips on what you should adjust on the car for drag. Search the forums. Many threads on lsd, suspension, and tranny tips

Well, that particular person asked me plenty of times, i said i could help him, but instead he wanted my whole setup. He didnt even had a mic, so thats even harder to discuss. One tip, if you want help with tuning you gotta understand what its all about, if you dont even know what gear ratios, torqe, hp, dyno graph, etc, etc, is, then tuning your car is like walking in the dark, you dont see anything. Even if you find a person willing to help you, if you dont have the basic knowledge you wont benefit from it.

I can might aswell say to a person "well add 200 kg of ballast weight, because the more the car weight the faster it becomes, since the engine has to work harder" - Do you think you will be faster with 200kg of weight? Or with a "paper hat" on your head, like one of those real life "educated" gt5 players said to me. You wont benefit from tuning if you dont understand, because if someone "_beat_ya_ass", what will you do then to improve your setup?

I recomend all newcomers to read my posts, i highlight some good stuff there regarding the drag race in gt5.

Completely agreeing with his.
I never give info about tunes or which car is the fastest since it's something people should learn by themselves when playing the game.

Yes however i'm not asking them just to give it me as I am paying them :)

Also I do not share the tunes that people give to me.
Humm, you allready have a good tune for your supra right? I doubt you will find any better tune. if you have been beaten, then you know why, its the time/tree thing.
