Need to learn how to make FR cars and MR cars easy to handle in dirt.

Those type of cars are a little etchy on dirt roads. What can i do about their suspension?

If able i need to know how much is too much when adjusting. Thanks in advance.

Read my post in your Lancia Stratos thread, it should give you a few pointers about suspension tuning.

How much is too much? This can only be answered by trial and error. Change your settings a little at a time, test drive it, and see if it gets better. Rinse and repeat. Tuning is an exercise of patience, not so much about skill.

At the end though, RWD cars will always be more unstable on dirt than 4WD cars. If tuning cannot cure it, your technique will.

There is the Citroen Xsara Rally Car that is FF which one can use but I have found it pretty darn uncompetitive in S, A and B rank offroad races. It simply lacks way too much traction on acceleration.

Yes, I remember that car. In one of the License Tests (Snow Driving @ Chamonix) you have to drive the Xsara through a series of very tight downhill hairpins. It was a nightmare understeer heaven . Absolutely horrible.

Not really. Citroen's cars have been quite revolutionary actually, especially their suspensions. It is said that Citroens have the best ride quality of any car ever. And the GTbyCitroen is epic as well (even though it's only a concept). It's just that the Xsara happens to be an FF rally car, and FF rally cars are never brilliant in the handling department (last I checked, the Focus Rally Car is horrible as well).

Yeah but, despite how awesome the GT is and how horrid the Xsara, they seem to be too pricey. The price on 1 car can promise me better with a skyline or supra though. But the price on the GT is worth every penny.
