Need tune for Mustang SVT Cobra R

Fully modded it's about 720 hp and 1360kg, goes like stink but handles like you'd expect an American car to. Braking is also terrible.

I'd like to cash in on this beast's straight line speed, while still giving the handling and braking a vast improvement. Any advice?

Thanks!

Where did you get this cobra? Used car dealer??

yes, It's used and appears RARELY! i've only seen one, which I purchased, around 60,000 Cr. (can't remember the exact amount...) with low mileage (around 1500 or so miles on the OD.)

And, I'd be interested in a tune as well, preferably for improved conering, emulating the GT500 cars of old.

Yep, it's the one from the used car dealership. I think mine was about Cr.48,000 or something around there.
It's real fun to drive but just doesn't like slowing down and taking corners. That's probably the whole point of this car :) but I think it would make a wonderful racer with the correct setting.
I'd have a go tuning it myself, but I know literally nothing about what anything does :(

here's something I found on youtube. Looks like It'd be a good drifter, If anyone is interested in that sort of thing...

I have three. One totally stock. One at exactly 500 hp. and one maxed out completely.

I also drive a mustang cobra in real life. not the SVT R. but a 200 cobra.

The thing is, you have to drive it like an american car. It handles just as good as anything if you drive it correctly. I know that seems cliche and all but it's true.

You cannot CANNOT even think of hitting the gas pedal more than at least 10 percent if your not going completely straight even with racing soft tires on.

Also the old rule of only breaking if your in a straight line, once again it's very very important for you to do this, exaggerate it. Do not break if your steering.

I haven't tweaked anything yet one mine, suspension or down force wise. And to me it handles just as well as any car in the game.

Ooo, this could be a fun car to tweak

If you haven't picked one up yet from the UCD I can send you over mine to play with, as along as I get it back. I believe it's still stock. I figured it was the closest to a Terminator that I'd get in GT5.

Same here, Project. I'll let you use mine for a little bit. Just send it back when your done. Just PM on PSN if interested. I still have you on my FL.

(edit)
o.k. Here's what I have so far:

all upgrades purchased / + engine rebuild (17,000)
Transmission
Top speed = 217 (actual is around 180 before red-line.)

Drivetrain (my default FR setup starts @ 10, 50, 10.)
Initial: 13
Acceleration: 51
Deceleration: 5

Suspension
Ride Height: F -20 / R -16
Spring Rate: F 13.0 / R 5.9
Dampers (Ext.): F 8 / R 8 (setting #2: F 7, R 6) try suspension binding to limit travel?...
Dampers (Comp.): F 7 / R 6 (setting #2: F 8, R 8) try suspension binding to limit travel?...
Anti-roll bars: F 5 / R 3
Camber: F 2.6 / R 1.0
Toe: F -2.3 / R .10

Brakes
F 7 / R 8
Downforce
none
Driving Aids
TCS: 1
ABS: 1
Skid recovery: [off]

notes:
works well w/ skid recovery and TCS=5, but w/out aids, the rear-end is hard to tame.
the rear slip is controllable, but the rear suspension still needs work.
